I remember there were lots of people who prematurely judged Tennant in the same way, and I'm sure some of them ended up loving him. I just wish people would keep their mouths shut and wait to see someone new before they pass judgment. I'm confident Steven Moffat wouldn't cast someone who wasn't capable of playing the character. I grew up on the classic series so I take the change of lead actor in my stride.

Eccleston was good but I don't think he was served well enough by the stories they gave him, and I agree David could be a bit OTT at times.

Aww, I like the bowtie. ^^ Eccleston has T shirts, Tennant had the necktie, I think it's a logical progression and I personally think Matt pulls it off. And how many action heroes can be cool and do it in a bowtie? ;D

Haha, that's alright, there isn't much worth watching at the moment besides DTB 2 and a few other things anyway, although Durarara is gonna be epicly awesome (same author/staff/director as Baccano!). Great David Tennant pic too. Can't wait for the last special and the new series in march?

Watching the new series, although I'm interested in the 80s ones now that I know I really enjoy it. Just a matter of when and how. Other then that watching MIGHTY BOOSH, Farscape, and Babylon 5, whereas with anime mostly just Umineko and Bakemonogatari.
