Well, subjectively I found it subpar in this area.
However, it still going to remain in my favourites.

Code Geass is one of my most favourite shows. I really appreciate it even though the animation itself was not high-end.

I like psychological shows that makes one think. Shows that forces the viewers to ask the question: Who is the real villain? Is the villain really a villain? Is the hero really a hero? Who is really on good's side & why? Stuff like Death Note, Moriarty The Patriot, & Monster are good examples for this.
I also like light shows that have exhilarating events with a dash of comedy here & there like Dandadan & Jujutsu kaisen.
I too like dark romance shows like Yakuza Fiance & Twittering Birds Never Fly, and some light romance like Kaichou wa Maid-sama, Lovely complex & Toradora.
I like some animes that urges the viewer to think in the manner of solving the puzzle or catching the criminal. Animes like The Apothecary Diaries & Kamonohashi Ron, or even Iyashikei animes that either provokes the viewer's ideas & maybe teaches something about cultural mythology like Mushishi, or brilliantly steal one's heart like Frieren.

I don't mind Isekai when it actually has a good story like Rezero & Mushoku Tensei (the first season), or even a cute story like Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo.
I watched some music related ones, but I don't think that I watched that many. I just found a lot of them with the same theme of how a band rose to their spotlight, and I found the theme a bit repetitive in some cases.

So, basically, I watch a wide range of anime genres, but the link is always a good, thought provoking or heart warming story.

Thanks for the link!
Girls Band Cry sounds like a music related anime. If true, then maybe I skipped it whilst adding animes to watch on my list since I don't watch music/band related animes that often. But again, will check the story.
Thanks Leo for all the suggestions :)

Haven't heard about it, but willing to check it out.
Would you please send me the link to its page here on MAL?

I'm really in love with Dandadan these days.
How about you?

the thread was titled "does age matter for anime characters?" but its been deleted since he derailed the discussion into talking about real people
