Have you been studying Japanese too and what do you love most about Kikaider?
My supertomboyish friend loves Rahxephon too.
Something tells me that Erika is your number one catgirl.
If you're wondering how I discovered your profile in relation to Flowers in the first place... Let's just say that I have a totally not creepy irregular habit of cross-checking usernames on different websites. So I was like "Hmm, who is this person who scored the C instalment lower than the D one? This is quite uncommon. Let me check for their online presence, maybe they've written their thoughts or some reviews somewhere else under the same username."
But no, I haven't checked out any visual novels since then. I got interested from your profile but then didn't pursue past that. I did sell that awful Stein'sGate one eventually though. That's about it on the update front.
You seem to specialize in visual novels more than anything else!
I've always been curious about getting into visual novels, but don't really get how they work. Are they basically just a book with an A button, essentially?
Or one of those choose your own adventure books? I tried one; I bought that Steins;Gate remake game for Switch, but it turned out I wasn't a fan so..... yeah, couldn't do much with it. I'm trying to imagine even if I was totally smitten with the series and all that, even then.... such a 'game' wouldn't have much replay-ability for me. I mean, I guess it would be a 'definitive' way to revisit/rewatch it... but I can't say my mind can wrap that sort of role to something I would classify as a game!
What platforms do these usually come out for anyway? PC? Are they emulated? I assume translations are critically important for them too.
I'm just quite curious. Let me know sometime, and I'd like to talk about it if you're up for it!
(By the way, I heard so much regarding Umineko, and I'd like to ask about that one in particular)
