Yuri mania aside, I also really enjoy both dark series like Attack on Titan and Death Note, and comedies like Hoozuki no Reitetsu and Saiki Kusuo no Ψ Nan. I tend to watch/read a lot of fantasy and reincarnation/isekai, but I'll watch most genres depending on my mood - as long as it isn't harem or ecchi; those two really grind my gears (I don't have a problem with graphic content, but perversion for the sake of perversion just kills the story, and I'd rather see a harem irl than kowtowing to the bland potatoes that usually stand in for protagonists in said scenarios).
Combined, I probably read more webtoons, manhua and manhwa than manga, (probably something about reading in colour, although the variation in art style is likely a contributing factor too) but I do read plenty of both.
Outside of comedy, art is usually super important to me! Especially in romance genres. Don't tell me it's a bishoujo when it looks like a frog; I can't take it seriously. (Not even romance, but my heart still cries for Visha. T^T ah, poor baby T^T)
I'm always happy to discover talented and recognisable artists (like Choonae! ↓↓↓ Uwah, isn't Bo-eun adorable!?). I like cute, beautiful, and expressive characters, but I also really like to see artists who create good backgrounds.
Well, in short, yuri is life, I like laughing, and original strories with actual layers, worldbuilding, and character development are always great. When all else fails, bad girls are still the best.
