[UPDATE] I can't watch as many anime and read as much manga as I used to do before. Credits shall go fully to college, side projects and my schedule in general. However, I'll try to watch as a slow pace and keep up with most of the famous titles which are coming out
I'm Arka Mukherjee. A person who considers anime/manga/visual novels as a higher form of art. Infinite love will be shown to works by KEY. KEY works changed the frame of reference from which I view life. Clannad, Kanon , AIR and Tomoyo After deserve love. <3 Also as you can see, Natsume Yuujinchou is love too :3 I really like the style and presentation of the series and it has shaped out to be one of my favorite series.
Favourite Genres(anime and manga):
-Psychological : Well, life in general is an indirect version of psychological warfare. This genre really appeals to me and intrigues me. My favorite works in this genre are things like Death Note or Liar Game.
-Mystery : Let's screw everything infront of us and find out who really John Doe is, and what is his motives. Well, the mystery genre can be often addictive as fuck. You'll just start reading stuff like 20th Century Boys and you'll forget who the heck you are and what is going on around you. In this genre, Naoki Urasawa completely rules.
-Drama/Tear Jerkers : It's impossible to watch anime like AnoHana or Clannad After Story without shedding a single tear. For me, the case was completely different. I cried my eyes out, lol. I watched almost all tear jerking anime which has a reputation to make the viewer cry.
Favorite anime:
3. Steins;Gate: The time travel was mindblowing(Quantum Mechanics FTW!). I got hooked from the very first episode. The last 3 episodes were beyond epic. Made me speechless.
2. Death Note: A Gem. A Masterpiece. An anime which every living being deserves to see. Everything was perfect. Light vs L. is the best battle I've seen. An anime having wars without actual combat. But a war of Brains. The series closest to my Heart. All hail Light!
1. Clannad ~After Story~: Out of words to describe this anime. Made me cry countless times. #ManlyTears. Clannad may not appeal to all due to it's drama filled initial arcs and moe. But after episode 16 of After Story, it's something different. Clannad is beautiful. Clannad is the most wonderful thing that I've encountered in my life. Key x KyoAni FTW! Kudos Maeda. Kudos KyoAni. Surpassed the VN IMO.
Favourite manga:
2. Liar Game(Mind games. They were so damn badass.. Akiyama stole the act. Kaitani Shinobu is a genius.)
1. 20th Century Boys: Urasawa's best work. Master-fricken-piece! It was more addictive than alcohol. Amazing and spectacular character development shown. Worth every second. Gonna re-read when I get free again.
P.S: Only two favourite manga for now as I have to read many epic works.
Top Openings:
10. Angel Beats:
9. Fullmetal Alchemist Opening 1:
8.Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood: OP 4:
7.Kanon 2006 OP:
6. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood OP5 Rain:
5. Clannad OP:
4.Air OP:
3.Attack on Titan: Guren No Yumiya
2.Steins;Gate- Hacking through the Gate:
1.Death Note-The World.
Random OSTs, good for the ear :D
~Natsukage - Air
~Unjust Life - Angel Beats
~Scattered Flowers-Rewrite
~GATE of Steiner: Steins;Gate(Sounds like Beethoven IMO):
~L's theme Death Note:
Arigatou Guzaimasu. Have a good day! :3 Feel free to drop a comment, I'm pretty friendly :P

Oh, so they announced it will be 26 eps? Thank you based god Haruhi. I was terrified they'd go full Grisaia and make it 12eps + OVAs for moon or something.
Well, at least that's something. Not as good as Higurashi but still doable.
Yea, I heard about Ryu, also Romeo will be supervising the screenplay so at least the parts of the story that make to anime will be fine.
Guess KyoAni is still butthurt after they parted ways with Maeda. Rewrite got nothing to do with him and still there was not even a hint KyoAni could pick it up. But hey, there's still hope! If you remember,
Toei notoriously fucked up Kanon, then KyoAni took over and did it right.
Year later, Toei proceeded to launch the movie version of Air while KyoAni aired the TV. Toei fucked up again, KyoAni got it right.
Couple of years later, dull, confusing, horribly-paced, Clannad movie by Toei. KyoAni a month later delivers their best VisualArt's adaptation.
They're just being tsun and waiting for 8-Flop to flop. LOL
Hey there!
Yeah, I've been away from MAL myself too. Also due to college stuff overwhelming my free time.
I didn't have time to check out Charlotte yet. It's already downloaded and waiting for me but every time I decide to start it, something comes up and I have to give up on the idea.
I can only watch anime if I somewhat marathon it in a week or two, more than that and I tend to forget bits of the story ...yeah, I'm this weird.
I still don't know how to feel about Rewrite :s
I was trilling with happiness when I heard it was getting an anime. One of the best Key's storylines definitely deserves on.
But then...
It's a complicated story to be translated in a linear anime, so a competent studio should pick it.
Turns out FUCKING 8-BIT with DISGRACEFUL Grisaia staff is in charge of it >_<
All I can do is hope they don't ruin it ...too much.
Yeah, the games were fun to read. I didn't really like how the author would bombard the reader with text sometimes, but other than that, it was a great manga.. I actually enjoyed the human auction game, just the ending...
I don't think I'll ever be able to completely wrap my head around it.. Hopefully we get a sequel someday..
Rewrite is Key's main work and although it isn't as emotional as Clannad or Little Busters, it's definitely a lot more epic. Loved it very much, but it is kind of long XD
I've played Clannad, but never got to play the Tomoyo After part of it. I guess I never found the time for it, though I have heard that it is really good. I hope to try it out when I can, though I feel as if I have received enough emotional torment from Clannad XD. I might play it when I get in the mood for the Clannad VN again.
Btw, what other VN's have you read? Have you read any of the other works of Key, namely Rewrite? ;)
Hey, Arka. Long time no talk. You may remember me as "TheIronPriest90" Well, just thought I'd send you a shout out and say thanks for the friend request a while back. See you around.
