DragonBall Z got me into anime back when I was 14, good ol' Toonami. Then I saw some Gundam and loved it. But what really drew me in was Cowboy Bebop, still my favorite show. My first downloads were off an FTP with dial-up! I grabbed all of Kenshin and subsequently started watching Fansubs.
Took over a subbing channel in 2001 from the people that helped me through the world of IRC; #Anime-Dominion and made lots of friends. Really enjoyed myself on IRC but had to give it up for the real world in 2003.
Since Naruto came out I have been watching it religiously, I picked up on Bleach when that came too. I still follow those to the day (despite the filler..) but my new favorite weekly show is One Piece. I picked that one up my sophomore year around episode 80 or something and I love every minute of it... well except for the 7 mins of review every episode.
Decided to get on this interesting site because I am bored and ready to watch more anime!

read vinland saga(manga) too.it is really badass and you will be hooked from the 1st chapter.
