I'm Appilesh~
A little about myself:- I enjoy Japanese art including animation and doujin music
- I live in the UK
- I speak English and French
- I am a rank ~1,000 osu! player: see me here ;)
How I use MyAnimeList:
I make sure to tag all entries in my list with mini-reviews in order to express my opinion on each one (since that's what it's all about). Apart from that, I like to write full reviews for titles that I have a strong opinion on which hasn't already been expressed by someone else. I try to write well. If one of my reviews is helpful to you, or if you disagree with it or see a problem with it, I greatly appreciate feedback in the comments on my profile! I use the forum sometimes.
My taste:
I appreciate any work of art that is profound in some way. What I mean are titles that are allegorical (Ghibli films), that delve deep into our own nature (Attack on Titan/Death Note), that abandon tropes and boundaries in order to uphold their own morals (From the New World/Madoka Magica); or the wildly creative, unique and bizarre screenplay of Serial Experiments Lain. As you can tell from the selection I mentioned, genre and demographic don't matter: it would be a shame if masterpieces were exclusive to anyone.
P.S. I really love Kiki's Delivery Service. I don't think there is any moment in life from childhood all the way up to retirement where this movie isn't relevant. Everyone should watch this classic, it would make us all so much happier.

I wanted them to get together but looks like the author reminded us it's not a romantic anime. :3
Btw, I will watch mahou shoujo next as it is your top favorite. Anything else you can think of, that I should watch next?
