So there is something I need to get off of my chest...
I'm not actually a badger.
I know, I know; the disappointment is palpable.
I'm just an average human in her early twenties who hates writing about herself. So I won't. There just isn't much to tell. I like a wide range of genres and will stubbornly finish any series I start (unless I can't physically find it).
My ranking system looks a little bit like this, beyond the obvious quality elements:
1. A dumpster fire in the worst possible way.
2. There were one or two good elements, but that was it.
3. A series that was a struggle to get through but still had a bit of merit.
4. A below-average experience that has a couple of redeeming qualities.
5. An average experience that doesn't push the envelope.
6. Does a couple of things to stand out, but not too much.
7. Is very good, but didn't make me feel anything.
8. Is well-crafted and deserves praise but didn't really make me feel all that much.
9. Has moments that I will return to over and over.
10. Had a profound impact on me as a person.
Of course, these aren't hard and fast rules but they give a rough idea of what I'm thinking. The upper ratings (7 - 10) will be a lot more subjective but most of the series in that section will be worth a read. I will be aiming to write a review for every series I finish, so if you want to see my deeper thoughts then give those a read.
