Also, I'm planning to read Tokyo Ghoul, I started it years ago but then I kept it on Hold for so long, and it's time for me to pick it up. I have a feeling I will end up liking it a lot. I do remember that I liked Touka a lot, she's so my style. Plus her relationshp with Ken is great. I just love it when the Hero x Heroine have great chemistry, it's one of the most important aspects I look into. But I watched the anime and disliked the direction, I believe the manga is way better. But Judging from our previous conversation and your list, it seems we like similar shows, so I thought I will also like it as much as you do. I'll start reading it soon in a week or so. Any tips/advise before I start?
BTW, I completed HxH, and I am amazed by it. It surprised me so much, what a masterpiece. Also, Killua is so PRECIOUS <3 He's my favorite character and one of my all time favorite male characters in all anime. I see him in your list too xD
I also finished Mob Psycho and I'm hooked! It's hilarious and the characters are so unique. Reigan is my favorite!
I have an idea, how about we start watching a new show together, then when we discuss it? :)
I'm planning to watch Kara no Kyoukai series, I watched the 1st movie and disliked it. I don't understand the hype, the plot was SO cliche and weak. I heard the sequels are way better though..
But what did you think of the series (before I waste my time) ? I see Shiki in your faves.
Made in Abyss is a fantastic show if you haven't seen it already, I highly recommend it too.
It reminded me of a darker version of Ghibli movies which I adore. The character Nanachi is my favorite.
I finished Re:Zero and I am now actually rewatching it.
I thought Subaru was a great protagonist who really carried the show with mostly well done mental breakdowns. Seing how he suffered a lot amazes me, his development truely shows in the series, he's not perfect and I can see his flaws which makes him a human character. He is not annoying per say. He's not what you think he is. You'll see what I mean when you actually give it time and chance. trust me, he is not Kirito from SAO.
A great character cast with great relations with strong story! it takes its genre to a whole new level, much like Madoka. It's not your typical being trapped in a fantasy anime.
Emilia is not what you think. She is not a Mary sue at all, she get little screen time for me to make an opinion of her but I heard she'll be more developed in S2. if you invested into the series, you will understand her character more instead of listening what haters might say.
Rem is well loved character for a reason. She is a well-written, but not my type tbh.
Give it a shot, even if you think it ain't your style, I am sure you'll be surprised. Don't judge too fast since you haven't seen the whole series.

I have read few chapters and I am really impressed with the art. I'm not caught up yet though!
