i cannot go visit a live game sadly, there aren't many ice hockey matches here in my country, and it'd be bothersome to leave the country during a plague, let alone to just watch a match.
And yeah Satoko being possessed by Lambda beats the purpose of Higurashi and becomes pointless, in the ending it was just a deliberate attempt by the author u can also say it was a marketing strategy into researching and reading more of his works and in the end becoming addicted to it..
I believe Satoko was conscious of her actions just being influenced into going insane by Lambda
This was a deliberate action done by the author in order to make the fans look into his other works like unimenko in order to get to know more about higurashi, so he made multiple links between higurashi and unimenko.
It was great but if someone says that Lambda possessed satoko and it was not actually satoko that was doing that cruel things then the plot becomes completely destroyed and nonsensical because It is satoko's hate and anger that made her into a witch not by just by merely being possessed by the witch Lambda, It is in all of higurashi arcs in which hate jealousy makes someone go insane so, You can come into conclusion that It is satoko herself that made her into what she become in Sotsu only that her pure state was being washed away by Lambda (in that way she was being deluded, and not entirely possesed by lambda)
Hope my theory seems correct and the best
I'll give it a shot and redo my review for episode 4 keeping what you told me in mind. It was my first review ever, so I appreciate the feed back!
I didn't mean to offend you or anything, I just told my opinion about the show. I understand the purpose of the show now thanks to you, and I was curious during the episode and saw that the hockey ring they go to is a real place.
But I still think it's lacking a little bit; don't you think it's a little anticlimactic that they show the main cast win a final match in the first two minutes of the show? What if they had shown Thanos snap at the beggining of Infinity War and made you watch a spoiled story?
As I said in the review, I was curious about what Japan would do with an anime about Hockey, so I was as thrilled as you to see a show about it, it's just that I was expecting something a bit more Slice of Life in between the Hockey parts, not some kind of secret plan to form an Idol group.
Also, what did you mean by "fake Americans"? Is this how you refer to Canadians? That's just funny, not even an insult. If you meant anything else, please elaborate because it gets more confusing the more I think about it.
I'll admit one thing though, it's that I'm not a big fan of Hockey or sports in general, but I watch Hockey when my team is in the play offs. Remember I said I was French Canadian? That's right! My team's the f...ing Canadiens de Montréal and they where an extraordinary underdog this year that gave us all a bit of hope until the finals.
Anyways, if you enjoyed the episode, good for you, I mean it may end up being the first Idol anime that I like! Have a nice one.
