Completely agree!!! I had such high expectations walking into this because I saw the score and nearly all the top reviews had 10/10. Maybe if i watched it when I was younger I wouldn't have noticed all the issues and would have enjoyed it more. Also, about his death, I don't think they just brought him back to life but instead re-wrote his death and put it under a coma or just simply an accident that he survived (on the last ep they stated he hasn't talked much since his accident). Also, they didn't even know he was dead, to begin with, which was super weird to me. Their band was underground and didn't like to take pics so idk if you can call him famous - mabye the band name was but indiviually idk? If he never really died and they just revived him then wouldn't he be YEARRRRSSSSS older than her? like her dad's age. This is one recurring factor I see in many magic girl shoujo animes. They always make the girl extremely young and her love interest 18+. Can we talk about Eichi's death for a second, I had a feeling he was dead around ep 20 because of his zero screen time but when they revealed it I couldn't help but be mad!!! I can't believe they made her talk about a ghost the whole time. I've seen this happen in other shows and sometimes it was fine and added great effect to the plot, but when they did it here it left a bitter taste in my mouth. It made everything seem so pointless. Her dream to become a signer was quite shallow itself but to take the main purpose of the show away? Welp, atleast the streets are safe from a potential pedo. Also sorry for the mini-essay I gave. I just forcibly made myself binge watch this and the outcome wasn't satisfying so i have alot to let out, mb
Loved your review for Full Moon wo Sagashite. I just finished the anime and can't believe how many people overlook the age difference. Throughout the anime, I tried to ignore it and hoped they were going to explain it as some sort of misunderstanding and that a SIXTEEN was not in fact in love with a TEN-year-old. Even Takuto seemed quite old for her but we move
