I like animes with an enticing story that draws you in. (Monster, Death Note etc)
Great/likeable characters and so forth.

I don't have just one anime genre to watch, very diverse. Though I do prefer the darker oriented animes, I don't mind watching animes with the odd ecchi moments from time to time and misunderstandings as well. Also a sucker for the relationship type of stories (5 Centimeters Per Second, Air, Angel Beats). I don't mind crying at something so beautiful....

Even minus the 2nd Ark, the 1st Ark was good, but it wasn't perfect and still wouldn't be the best anime ever...

Thanks. I usually reserve my rant-ier stuff for my blogs rather than reviews, but I feel as though SAO earned a thorough pistol-whipping.
