No problem, what it really matters is that you trusted my recommendation. One thing is for certain when talking about Utena : It may not be a title equal to LoGH in overall quality, but I assure you that this anime is one of a kind. In your "anime career" you may have seen lots and lots of different things, but your eyes never stumbled upon something so unique.

Just finished Revolutionary Girl Utena, and I thought about recommending you to watch it. Judging from our similar taste, this highly allegorical and symbolic anime will surprise you to no end.

I've just noticed that you haven't watched Tatami Galaxy yet. So fear not, because even if the world of anime is misty and bleak, there is still a bright gem to show you the right way out of the fog of mediocre shows. I just can't recommend it enough.

What is your opinion on .hack//sign ? I just completed the first episode and, even though I think that is not fully consistent and original, I found it to be very interesting with great potential on discussing some interesting philosophical themes. Another major plus though is that it seems to take itself seriously, unlike the shitty Sword Art Online. And, of course, the best music O.S.T. I 've heard since Yoko Kanno's music on Escaflowne.

Hey man, Charles here. Just noticed that you're about to start Takarajima, I just finished a rewatch of it...... I've got to say it does not hold up well.
I dropped it down to a 5/10.... some anime may be best left to memory. It's funny how much your opinion can change as you age. I guess it's only natural, I'm not entertained now by stuff I loved when I was eight :P
