In your Haruhi review you say that the show was released in no order which is just not true, the release order of the show is definitely intentional.

For starters the show not being released in chronological order plays into the main themes of the show, Haruhi's entire philosophy is about not leading a boring life by doing things no one else would do and the show does that by releasing episodes out of order to fuck with the viewer.

The baseball episode is the perfect example of how the release order of the show was planned out, in that episode Itsuki is shown for the first time despite being having his proper introduction be in the next episode and the way they talk about his powers is perfectly done in order to create more mystery and intrigue into the character. Not to mention the fact that Yuki is not wearing glasses in that episode.

I'm not going to say you should like endless eight but I love that arc no other show would ever think of doing an arc like that and every episode makes me laugh just because of the sheer stupidity of it.
