Thanks for the welcome back. You could always read my letterboxd content if you want to read my ramblings https://letterboxd.com/ZephSilver/
I'm not sure how active I would be here, but more than likely, if I review anything else, it would probably be older titles I've been interested in covering or others I want to bring more exposure to, similar to what I've done with Argento Soma and Flag.

Horimiya shows multiple sides of its characters and how they compartmentalize. If by pacing issues you mean the montages that summarize days of the main couple's relationship—I believe it was necessary. I'm not watching Horimiya for slice-of-life. I rarely like slice-of-life. I crave meat. If trimming some fat is what it takes to get there, so be it.

Thanks for the kind words, I appreciate that. I'm honored that my works can have any kind of impact, no matter how small.

I told you already that I only blame when someone actually do something bad and keeps doing it. So don't argue. This is the last time I am telling you this.

We don't have to talk to each other.

I only speak violent words against those who literally have done anything against to the goodness of the world. Don't ask me the explanation because I can't start giving explanation to everyone.

Hey, thanks man! I appreciate it :) [s]though I put an unnecessarily long amount of time into making it XD{/s]

Yeah, I never thought I would change waifus, but Nagtoro just did something for me, I can't really describe it. Maybe I just like being bullied a little lol. Nice to see that you like her too.

It just looks tepid. Like another middle-of-the-road live-action adaptation. I'd rather not waste my money on it if possible. If it turns out to be good, then great, if not, I didn't waste more on it than I have to.

Maybe when it comes out on blu ray and I could stream it with my firestick. I have no desire to pay to see it in theaters tho.

Anything "2" or greater is considered good/great. I differentiate the anime I enjoy, rather than anguish over which anime I detest more.

Like anything else, through practice. I'm constantly writing think-pieces, seeking out verbal discourse, reviewing etc. All of that goes towards me getting better at articulating my points and getting my feelings across to others. Like I stated in this review about words and semantics:

As a reviewer, there have been numerous occasions when I struggle to find the right words to convey my thoughts. This isn't to say that I didn't know what I wanted to express to others, but rather, I wanted my message to be as clear and concise as possible. The right words can often make all the difference in how a reader interprets what you have to say. Words are capable of setting the mood, giving off tone, and in some cases, changing the very temperament of those on the receiving end. They're vehicles used to communicate feelings, painting a picture for the reader, and naturally, when the right word, the right expression, is used, a connection between the writer and the reader can be formed.

Having constantly tested my hand at writing think-pieces and reviews, among many other things, I've slowly developed a knack for conveying my thoughts to others. Of course, there are still ideas that are hard to make tangible, but through constant diction retooling and communication with others, I've made strides in closing that gap.

So the more you find new ways of expression, the easier it becomes to express yourself. Think of it like Lego blocks. If you only have a dozen pieces, you could only rearrange them in so many ways to make something. However, if you acquire new pieces (in this case, words and expressions) you could construct far more things. If you treat it like adding new "blocks" to your Lego collection, it becomes easier to see how more, in this case, is in fact better.

Hope that makes sense.

I'm glad you had fun reading it. The best way to learn them is to put them to practice. You don't have to learn all of them but the more you keep a word in mind and use it, the easier it is for it to become a part of your extended vocabulary.

I don't "paint" on Microsoft that common. Most of my art is hands-on pieces I've done on canvases using a vast array of mediums. You could see some of them in this interview: https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1616355
ZephSilver Apr 10, 2018 1:33 PM
I create them all myself. Any color blends and mosaics you see on my profile was done by yours truly. Of course, I didn't create the fanart, but the actual techniques used to bring them together and make them "bleed" into each other was all me. Believe it or not, I make all of these things on Microsoft paint lol
It’s time to ditch the text file.
