I havent even watched nami yo kiitekure yet. The show has been on my watchlist for many months now. I had a feeling I would absolutely love this show, just from the poster, name alone. I read your review now and had been blown away. Everything I expected from nami, your review. Your review made my love for nami evene greater, inspite of the fact that I still havent watched a single episode yet. I have exams this week and I will go home after that. On my way home, Im definitely completing nami.
I read your TPN 2 review and it was just as fantastic as your Ex-Arm one. I strongly suggest to make more and maybe even find out how to make money from them (if you aren't already doing that) because they are just wonderful. Of course this is just from two reviews that I've read but I see in your comments most people seem to agree with me that they are fantastic.
Also, how did you get into anime; what happened for you to be this good at writing reviews?
Thank you! I honestly think that the first three arcs are definitely watchable with the first arc being the absolute peak. Honestly, had they just removed the parts about Dorothy and child trafficking completely from the show ie. the last arc, I'd be fine with it and it would actually be a decent show.
As you mentioned, there is definitely no discussion to be had regarding ethics or morality in the show. But by always making Makoto pick sides at the beginning and the end of each arc just seems a bit of overkill, even as a running gag in the show. It'd be way more effective if they had him pick sides mid-arc or something, and it would definitely be a lot funnier.
I regret watching the last arc, it completely killed the show for me.
I really, really liked your Ex-Arm review. You went all-in with your research and brought back a factual summary of everything that went wrong behind the scenes; the frequent comparisons and references to other forms of media also make it a very refreshing read, start to finish. But, above all, it was a welcome break from LE FUNNY LMAO 10/10 reviews, sometimes littered with bad spelling and punctuation (those are overrepresented on MAL tbqh).
Hey there,
I have only read like 2 columns of your Noblesse review, I hate it when people write 2 autobiographies, 1 rant and 5 monographies in one review section instead of cutting to to the chase with summarized key points in like 10-20 lines. Let's face it, no one will ever read that.
Be that as it may, your review made it look like you are very invested in web-toons, so I checked your list of reviews and your watched_anime_list inside of MAL. Turns out, you may have missed SENYUU ? https://myanimelist.net/anime/15751/Senyuu?q=Senyuu&cat=anime
I personally never made the jump from anime into other genre, but since the surge of webtoon animes centered around 2020, only this very old title ever left a postive impression on me, yet I'd recommend it to anybody ever interested in webtoons I guess. So here you go.
