lol yeah even if i found the beggining shallow then after L died it became plain shit .... it had such potiential but it was yet another let down, and so i don't get all this hype around DN..... Well akumetsu focus more on showing how wicked and corrupted the high politicals and everything else is in a country and point it out to the world while actually sacrificing himself, while all light did was play little hide and seek without actually dirtying his own hands by using kira name.....

Well I think light was average, L was way better but everything else was just shallow and I think what light did to change the world was just a childish dream. I think his idea of punishing criminals was plain dump, I doubt that they thought they will be caught while they were killing someone so they were not scared of kira..... example: USA they have death punishment yet people commit crimes. that's why i found it shallow in my opinion akumetsu was more indepth
