Good review of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.

I was also quite disappointed as I expected something different. It was all right, but I don't get why it's so highly rated. It doesn't explain the time travel element (guess it's not Steins;Gate!). And I didn't connect with the characters enough to feel any emotion. So all I end up with is a hollow feeling at the end. Maybe it's cause I was coming from watching Steins; Gate which is just so much better in almost all aspects. You got believable motivations, amazing romance and time travel concept that works without relying on your suspension of disbelief. Guess my expectations were too high :/

I'm a huge fan of Shiki from the Kara no Kyoukai movies :D
