 Hello I'm Alex Kubo, and I am a Japanese that speaks English as well. *Planning to write a longer introduction.* _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Starting from Spring 2015, I've decided to watch around 5 NEW(so sequels don't count) series every season. Of course, if there are series that were really good and I missed out on it, I'll try to catch up on it later. New Anime Series that I am watching this season: Ajin Boku dake ga Inai Machi Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu _____________________________________________________________________________________________ How I Rate Anime: I don't write in my ratings for anime because I happen to not in the beginning, and it just looks weird if I have ratings for some shows but not others. I "rate"(in my head) anime mostly by Story, Character, and Uniqueness. Unfortunately, I don't finish anime that I don't enjoy, so Enjoyment is a given. I don't take in Art/Animation and Sound because if it is bad it's probably affecting my Enjoyment, and it's tiring to check things like "does this BGM fit this scene?" and things like that(Let me just enjoy the show). The least a show can get from me is a 3/10, and the most is a 11/10. Story: 1~3 Characters: 1~3 Uniqueness: 1~3 EXTRA Enjoyment: 1 or nothing Love: 1 or nothing _____________________________________________________________________________________________ My Top 10 Anime Series: 1. Monogatari Series 2. Gintama 3. Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch 4. Ping Pong the Animation 5. Steins Gate 6. Baccano! 7. Katanagatari 8. Durarara!! 9. Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. 10. Barakamon (Honorable Mentions) 11. Psycho-Pass 12. Kekkai Sensen 13. I knew it! Well me too.. I was waiting for a breakout episode that will change my mind and say "it deserves the hype it gets". But well, yeah, we all differ in tastes anyway. Kamina and Yoko were the only reason why I get to watch 12 episodes. That episode, the 8th, crumbled the very foundation of my hope for it.
College is way more difficult. It's not about how smart you are, it's about how hardworking and determined you are.. Hardwork >>> Brain power, well usually though. Seize the opportunity and enjoy your free time to the utmost.
Question: Why did you dropped TTGL? At episode 8 huh? I think I have a clue. Your reason is possibly the same as mine and it has something to do with episode 8.
I can watch every single episode if I've got a lot of free time, sadly I don't have. I can't even marathon 12-episode animes now. It's difficult to bring myself to try Gintama though 'coz it's looong..
Are you reading the LN?
Another question, is it okay not to watch the first season of Gintama? I mean the first few episodes isn't that great as the succeeding (as they say) so I am wondering if you can skip them.
