Thanks. It boils down to them arguing based on being uncomfortable viewing certain depictions and nothing else. They claim these elements are "glorified" and don't realize that such claims are merely a play on words and hold no value other than to suggest that the fiction might influence people to commit such acts. Not only are their claims unfounded, there are many games like GTA where violent methods can be said to be "glorified" yet these people have no issues with them. Even an anime such as Initial D can be said to "glorify" street racing (to name an example), yet we hear little to no complaints about this. They apparently also don't understand that reactions towards fictions are different (people can enjoy a mountain racing scene in Initial D for numerous reasons other than imagining it in real life) compared to in real life (where people would be fearful of such reckless and dangerous behavior).
Basically it boils down to "I see bad thing" -> "Eww" -> "Bad anime" -> "Should be censored"
