This is a super late response so I just wanna say sorry! I stopped watching anime for months and it's been weird but I feel like with the new year I've been able to grow as a person. How are you doing? Have you watched anything interesting lately?

The prequels were pretty good movies, however, as a standalone trilogy, it's hard to get an idea of the plot and the underlying theme since it is not self-contained. Star Wars as a whole with Anakin Skywalker's journey is a well-crafted piece of fiction and it takes a lot more than 6 movies to understand it. Not sure what the criticism for the prequels was all about, however, it took the Clone Wars for me to appreciate the franchise even more. I bet he had something good for the new trilogy as well, and unfortunately, we won't get even a peak as to what exactly he had in mind.

Clone Wars made my childhood! That's what got me genuinely involved with the franchise although I have watched the movies when I was young. I'm excited for Bad Batch and Mandalorian as well. Ahsoka, well not so much, I like her character development in Clone Wars and her appearance during Rebels better. I do agree it has gone downhill ever since George Lucas left, Dave Filoni is playing the role of a one-man army to keep the franchise alive. xD
I haven't played Jedi Survivor yet but someday I will, that's for sure. Wishing you good luck in your career!
