"I'm reaching my maximum!!!" -Quote Freezer from DBZ
I'm not really a lion...I'm a young woman of almost 19 years, and I chose Alakay because my name is Alex. I have been into manga and anime since I was 16...although it started much earlier with DBZ, Pokemon, Digimon, Yugio and Bayblades...(I'll always miss cheese TV)
My first anime that I was into past my child years was Naruto, thanks to my best friend. But now that has branched out alot further.
My identical twin Natasha and I, enjoy late night watching of anime with lots of lollies and just junk food.
I prefer manga because I can get through it faster and I get fidgety when I'm watching the TV for too long.
I also suck at these things an ramble ^^
Anime and manga aside, I love cats, bubble tea, fantasy and jrock.
(I'm also a yaoi fangirl :O )

I'm not quite sure which one of you marked the right day since your says birthday is 11.10 and Tash's profile says 10.11. xD
Oh, well. Make sure to tell me which one is the right one.
And heh, no worries with the turning into a hermit thing. I can't blame you, as I do pretty much the same thing... And I don't use FB, really... And I NEVER go on MSN anyway. They both kind of suck. XP Well maybe not so much MSN...
I got your note, and hope we can organise something next week. I really need to get out also.
Jess(girl mum worked with) came over the other day... I ended up going into my room pretty much the whole time she was there, then pretty much broke down and went outside crying. u.u;;; I just couldn't it.
But I digress, we need to meet up... Soon... And just go somewhere. So we can both just have fun and forget about things for a little bit. :3
Off topic, damn... 30.2 days of manga. Mines only 5.9. Though I have a fair amount of manga volumes lying around unread... But still... Then again, with manga... I don't really think the time spent on it is as reliable AS the anime one. As it's different reading to watching. As with anime you have episodes that go for so long... With manga it's a bit diggerent. But meh. I think I'm just thinking too far into it. And it has little to do with my complimenting your manga thing. lulz
I shall read Death Note then. ;d Elfen Lied manga is really different from the anime. It doesn't follow the manga so anime's ending is just open. I think they even can't make a second season since they ended the first in that way.
Gantz seems interesting and I'm really curious what kinda weird challenges the author has come up with. I'm on chapter 61. Its so fast to read that I don't wanna rush so I'm taking little break from it.
The review I was talking about. They didn't like the movie, but they saw faaaaaaar worse movies during the summer(they were seeing all the summer movies)
Oh, I've already seem Jane Eyre. XP That made me cry also. Though I did prefer certain bits from the old movie more.
Yeah, I didn't know how... But I always had this feeling that she would turn out to be one... Somehow. I never imagined she was pure blood though.
I don't know if I told you, but I saw The Help. Bloody hell, I should have brought tissues. It made me cry so many times. -____- I'll def be buying both on blu-ray when they come out. Cowboys and Aliens was so awesome, like I said.
Also I just watched to vol 8 of VK guilty... I'd always guessed something like that would be up with Yuuki.
Same same, Light (Kira) it is. xD I have only watched the anime and I was somewhat disappointed to the latter half of the series. I've heard that it doesn't follow the manga so I'm planning to read it some day. Does it follow it or what do you think so far ? Haha, Tash said me about it and I got interested after hearing the author is same. I will read that one too. ;d
I know some and I already recommend those to you btw. =D "Deat Note and Code Geass, so: Akumetsu and Zennou no Noa." Akumetsu is best manga I've ever read. Zennou no Noa is nearly a masterpiece. You definitely should check those two. I'm hooked to those kinda revolution stories as well. Hoping to find more. >.>
I have watched Elfen Lied and I read the manga about a week ago. They are on the same level, so they are both very good. Manga is half as long as the anime but the latter half of the manga isn't on the same level with the first. I was somewhat disappointed since everyone keeps telling "just read the manga and forget the anime" but I have to disagree with that. It still is very good and offers more than the anime.
I'm just fine. Been reading lot of mangas. Now on friends house couple days and chilling, doing random stuff. Also got my pc with me so that kinda stuff too. >.>
I've found some great ones e.g. Slam Dunk, Spice and Wolf (loved the anime and read the manga), Gantz, Yozakura Quartet, Lone Wolf and Cup, Tasogare Otome x Amnesia and some more. So lot of great stuff. ;d
Oh yeah, its cliffy but the second season tells everything. Pretty much perfect start for the second season too. The ending is only anime ending which really fit with the word perfect. I almost cried. I was really impressed about it. You will see. Yup, that thing with Euphenia was something no-one saw coming. There is even more that kinda stuff in R2. You will see, again. ;d
Definitely Lulu. You liked him more too, right ? Since you gonna cosplay him, lol. I kinda disliked Suzu in R1 but he was way better character on the second season. Lulu is also much better. Gosh, the second season is just soo much better. You really need to watch it. xD Have you seen Death Note ? Its really similar to CG. If you have seen it, then which did you like more Kira or L ?
Any day really is good for me.
I will do. XP Terra Nova looks okay. I saw the first look thing on Channel 10 just before... But yeah, looks okay.
Yeah, next week sounds good... And we should sooo watch Highschool of the Dead. I really don't mind ecchi myself, so it didn't effect how I viewed the show, in anyway... Apart from giving me a giggle every now and then.
And I'll be sure to tell you what the Fairy Tail anime is like. Just have to wait till January for the release.
