I actually have read some of Witch hat, I’ve taken a break now but I’m 26 chapters in. I ve really enjoyed it, I especially love the art style and the magic system. Are you all caught up with the series?

I don't really recommend Air because the anime has a bad graphic.

I suggest that you read the Youzitsu and HakoMari novels because I believe they won't be in vain.

Ohhh ... many say that. in my opinion, sorting my favorite list according to the release release is indeed a unique thing, but I've also found a list of people's favorites in alphabetical alphabet.

If seen from my list of preferences do we have something in common? for example in novels, manga, anime, or characters / artists?

I think part of the reason I haven't started Monogatari is because it's one of those franchises like Fate or Jojo where there is so much to get into that it can be intimidating. But once I finish with Flip Flappers and Konosuba I am going to start it 👍 Also going to watch Katanagatari, but as far as I'm aware it isn't part of the series right?

Hey, land of the Lustrous is pretty underrated in my opinion, it is so unique and stunning with its visuals and the premise. I look forward to reading the manga, hopefully a second season is released someday. I plan on watching the Monogotari series soon, probably in the next month or two but it seems like its right up my alley so I'm excited to dive in. What do you personally enjoy so much from the series?

I've been planning to watch Penguindrum and Uetena for a while now.
I really like Sarazanmai, really wacky but really fun too, very interesting concept.

As for Etsuko idek where to start I pretty much love everything she's done solo and with Sotaisei Riron. If I had to pick I'd say their second album Synchroniciteen is probably my favorite. As for anime, both Penguindrum openings and the Arakawa Under the Bridge op.

Alien 9's a weird one, almost every aspect of it was strangely endearing to me in one way or another, from the absurd premise to the character's stupid faces. Everything's presented in such a matter of fact way even though what's happening is probably like nothing you've seen before which makes it a super unique experience. If I had to say what makes it not just unique but good it would be the way it portrays a kind of adolescent angst. Basically the fear of growing up, not meeting societal standards, being left behind by your peers, not fully understanding yourself or the world around you even though you're arriving at a point in your life where you need to. Most of which is shown to us in somewhat vague visual metaphors, something I personally enjoy. There's also a lot of little girl suffering and I see you have Madoka in your favorites so they have that in common. My biggest complaint is that it doesn't have anything resembling an ending I guess they wanted to make another OVA but for whatever reason they didn't. It's only 4 eps, even if you don't like it It's still worth a watch just for the spectacle imo.
