Australia x.x lucky you, that country is really cool (still not better than Norway, though! ;D). I dig the colour blue too (a blue hi-five!)
Ooh, I was in Japan last summer, for three weeks. I still didn't get a good enough impression of it, so next time I'll stay at last a month (it was thoroughly awesome though, very much helped by the fact that one of the two guys I traveled with spent his childhood growing up in Japan (as the child of a Norwegian missionary).
I've heard of Clockwork Angel - what is the series about? Personally I don't have a particular favorite author, but E.A. Poe, H.P. Lovecraft and Stephen King are all authors I enjoy, for their darker themes and horror stories.
It's a noble goal you have. I also enjoy seeing people around me happy, and while I can't save the world (not alone, anyway :P), brightening the day of those around me tend to brighten mine in return (:
Heh, I've always loved the unknown. It's why I love science - it offers a beautiful way to understand what we're not really meant to understand, and through it you see that there's so many miracles in this world - but they are natural, explainable miracles, not some mumbo-jumbo performed by an old man sitting in the sky (no offense intended if you are religious). That said, I am a deist, meaning I believe in some kind of supernatural entity or presence in this world, but i believe in nothing more than its presence here, and as an instigator of our scientifically explainable universe.
In the town I live in, we have several cherry blossom threes around a pond/lake in town http://mw2.google.com/mw-panoramio/photos/medium/46366606.jpg
One sample picture, it's not the best one though, There's a park area with several more, and I and some friends have an annual cosplay picnic during their blossoming. It's so.. beautiful!
When it comes to school I am of the lazy kind - but nature blessed me with a smart brain, so I'm mostly a straight A student in spite of my arbitrary school attendance x)
So, uh, you sent me a friend request some time ago. I usually don't accept them however, not without talking some beforehand with the person who sent me the request ;)
