Obviously this is all my opinion, it's all subjective.

Scoring is based on the show's quality + my enjoyment. General scoring guidelines:

10 - The best this genre has to offer. All-time favorite
9 - Left a big impact on me. Would highly recommend it / Consider it a high priority.
8 - Enjoyed it quite a bit. Would definitely recommend.
7 - Enjoyed it despite the flaws. Would recommend if you like this type of show.
6 - Enjoyed it but ultimately felt it wasn't worth it. Barely would not recommend.
5-2 - Overall did not enjoy it. Would never recommend.
1 - My most hated anime of all time.

Scores between shows of different genres should not be compared, but in general if a show has a high score it does mean I enjoyed it more than one with a low score.

I rate an anime based on ALL of its seasons combined. I do that by rating only the 1st season and leaving the rest blank. Reason for this is to reduce clutter/repeats when sorting by rating and when comparing with other users.

The only exception to this rule is when a specific season is significantly better/worse than the rest of the show, in which case I give that season a different rating compared to the overall rating. That and Fate.
