Sorry, I only now noticed that I got a new message.
I fear that I don't have the card templates anymore (it was a very long while since they were used after all). Since I wasn't very active in MAL community for many years, I don't know whom I would ask to make new templates either :/
Hello fellow MAL member! :D
Are you a movie addict? Or do you enjoy casually watching a movie together with your friends? If films, animated or live-action ones are something you like, have you ever wondered about participating in such activities where you can discuss about your favorite movies with your friends on MAL?
If the above facts catch your interest, come and joinThe Cinema Club! ;-)
Yeah, I should probably view some Ibsen performances considering his reputation. I generally need to start watching plays instead of reading them, haha.
I've never seen Da Vinci's Demons or Once Upon a Time, though I haven't exactly followed television very closely in a while. Still haven't even started Game of Thrones. I have seen most of Madmen at least. Oh, I did watch Twin Peaks in its entirety a few months back, which I very highly recommend. It's still a groundbreaking and fascinating series.
Lately, I've been mostly watching Disney and Hong Kong films. You might like the films of Wong Kar-Wai from the latter. I also watched a really good Beat Takeshi film called Sonatine, and it's definitely a ganster film like no other. I'd really recommend it if you want to see the genre done in a more subdued, internalised narrative.

The English poem at the beginning of the episode is popularly known as "A Boat Beneath a Sunny Sky" through its first line, though it actually has no title. The first letter of each line in the poem spells out the name of Alice Pleasance Liddell, the namesake of Lewis Carroll's protagonist.

Sorry I'm a week late in replying, things have been a bit busy lately. Great to see you around again though, and I hope things are going okay on your end.
I'm not too knowledgeable about theatre, mostly familiar with Shakespeare's plays. I did read Cloud Nine and Speaking in Tongues a few years ago, and those were definitely interesting even just going by their scripts. The Theatre of the Absurd stuff interests me as well though I haven't gotten around to researching it yet.
Sorry if that's a bit underwhelming, but that's all I've really got XD It's not really in my area of experience unfortunately. Great to talk to you again nevertheless!

Haha, no need to apologize, it's fine.
