Hello there! 8D
Alright, with MyAnimeList suddenly making everything weirder aesthetically, my profile looked atrocious, so I decided to change it... somewhat (it'll probably still look atrocious). It's basically the same, except with less words. Anyway, the (user)name's Aines and I kind of watch anime when I feel like it. Not much of an otaku or anything like that. I'm more of a fan of lighthearted, heartwarming things and prefer comedies, but I can like dramatic things too. In general, the only thing you'll see me consistently hate is yaoi (because it's usually terrible).
I write reviews, but only occasionally, when inspiration strikes. That doesn't happen all that often, so don't expect me to review a whole lot of stuff. Besides, my writing is not that awesome and I don't think I'm the best at getting my point across so you shouldn't expect all that much from me. I'll probably look towards my older reviews (everything but the Tribe Cool Crew one, really) in shame... if I don't re-write them in the meantime (which I've done for certain reviews). However, if you want to know my opinion of an anime for some reason, you can always check my anime list: it's got a summary of what I think of basically everything I've watched (some opinions/scores may be old but it's still an alright list).
No need to check my manga list, though. I barely update it. In general, this profile section of mine will be scarcely updated because doing so in this website is a pain in the ass so some of my favorite stuff may be old. Besides, the stuff in my favorites is not limited to what I've ranked the highest score-wise, but from a mix of enjoyment and actual quality. I won't put all my favorites in, too, but that's due to not having enough space in the lists to do so.
Now, if you've looked at my anime list, you must be wondering (since this is MyAnimeList, after all) why I have 'so many low scores': people in this community tend to have their own standards for scoring something rather than following score guidelines (as in, 7 = average). I... kind of follow my own standards too, but I'd say these are closer to the website's than other instances. Anyway, since I don't feel like having people confused or raging at me over scores, I'm going to write my score guidelines:
Score Guidelines
1. Needs to be garbage to get this score. Basically, if someone is so completely atrocious that not even its tiniest redeeming qualities can make it get a 2, it gets this score. It's my second rarest score so far.
2. For terrible anime. When something sucks, but I can enjoy it a little bit, or find that the art or music is good, or there's just something in there that makes it not be worthy of being called complete garbage, it gets this score. Other times, it's a score I give out of mercy for anime I feel deserve a 1 but have good art or music.
3. Close to being absolutely terrible, or extraordinarily bad. An anime scored 3 is a special kind of bad, really. As in, it's got a few merits or good/decent things, but at the end of the day, it's really, really stupid... but in a special sort of way because it has said merits/quirks. Basically, they tend to be hilariously stupid anime, and I usually enjoy them a lot for it. They're still bad though. Sometimes, anime get scored a 3 because I'm cutting them some slack (when something is clearly against my personal preferences, I cut it some slack).
4. Something below average or just plain bad, but not awful. Some of them are laughably stupid, while others just suck. This is a more broad negative score since it can be for anime that are close to a 5, but also for anime that are close to a 3. Anyway, it tends to be for things that suck in some way.
5. For average anime. Either that, or for potentially good anime that failed really hard at something, setting them back to this score. This is also a very broad score because it encompasses anime that are average and anime that become average from both being good in some areas but bad in others. Sometimes, it's for anime so boring that I can't score them higher than 5.
6. When I score something a 6, it usually means I've enjoyed it (if you ignore old scores). If anything, I'd recommend anime from this score up (with perhaps a few exceptions). This is for stuff that's above average, or a very enjoyable average. All in all, it's for decent stuff. It can also be for something that wasn't good or enjoyable enough for a 7, but that's not the norm.
7. This is a very solid score, if not my most solid score. When it's scored 7, it's usually good. However, they're not the anime I tend to really enjoy: a lot of anime I've scored 7 are stuff that's admittedly good in the quality department, but not enough for an 8. It's like that child that tries really hard to be as great as their perfect sibling, and ends up performing really well, but gets overshadowed regardless (by anime with 8-10); that sort of deal.
8. Very good anime get this score. With that, I'm basically talking about anime that have really good characterization and a somewhat solid story that I could thoroughly enjoy (I'm a character-driven person, so characterization is an important factor for scoring stuff). Or, if anything, they're anime that would've gotten scored 7 if not for being just a bit better in quality or just much more enjoyable in general. With this guideline, you'll probably find some scores questionable, but that's because anime with an 8 tend to be quite unique.
9. If it's great, it's worth a 9. It's basically a step above an 8 (in both quality and enjoyment), with very clear strengths. Anything with this score is something I would definitely want anyone to watch and enjoy as much as I did. Scores are decided rather intuitively, so these anime probably weren't worth a 10 out of me not feeling like they're quite there (however, they're pretty close).
10. Something too good to be a 9, basically. Either it essentially has no flaws, or its overall quality is just great. It's my rarest score, but it's not a good reference for what I'd absolutely recommend: any anime with a 9 are as good to recommend as those with a 10, so far. If I give something a 10, it's something that consider almost above great, but I don't feel as though a true work of perfection exits, so there's that. I'd have kept this score as Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou but I apparently have more 10s to give in the world.
There you go. If you don't know what I've written for the guidelines of 10, do look it up yourself ^^ I wrote that this profile section would have less words, and you might be doubting that, but it legit does have less words. I write a whole lot, so this isn't even the most I could've put in this section. Eh, it'll all look ugly anyway; it can't be helped. Whatever the case, nice to meet you!

I remember I watched a few episodes of Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou when I was going through a tough time in my life (because I heard it was a funny anime xD), but then I didn't have enough time to finish it. I did enjoy the first episodes though so I'm thinking of picking it up where I left off :D
OMG I watched Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun!!! It is HILARIOUS XD I loved every single episode of it, it made me laugh so hard xD It's definitely an awesome anime!
Hetalia is a very popular anime and I know some people that loved it, so I was planning on watching it when I have the time. It definitely has an interesting concept of personalizing the countries, so I want to give it a try xD
One Punch Man was a hilarious anime xD I was planning on watching Natsume Yuujinchou too. But now that you say it's depressing, I'm kind of hesitant about watching it D: I figured out recently that I do not enjoy sad or depressing anime, because they make me sad. And I already have a lot of things to worry about in real life that I don't want anime to make me even more sad XD For example, if I watch an anime about illness (especially one that has a high chance of happening irl), I start to worry about mine and my family's health. Idk, I'm just the type of person that can easily get worried :c
After reading your summary of Shounen Maid, I want to watch it! :D I'm not sure if I'd enjoy Gingitsune as much, since I don't like loose ends xD I might also give Osomatsu-san a try since it sounds very interesting! There's just so much anime that I need to watch xD When I do watch the animes that you've recommended, I'll be sure to tell you my thoughts on them (if you'd like)! :D
Can't believe I missed that for so long, lol.
but there's nothing bad in sending request right? :>
