Anyway, uhhh, I think I'm gonna check out "Bitou Lollipop", because of your review. I hope I'll enjoy it as I enjoyed Akai Ito. ^___^

I read most of your reviews, from the past week anyway. I had to report the Lollipop one, since I didn't feel like it made itself out as a review and more along the lines of a list of facts. That and you didn't read even a third of it. Sorry about that.

I've noticed a trend in your reviews. You tend to go more into detail about the characters than anything else. Why? I understand that characters are easy to write about and they tend to give off a certain feel that's easy for a viewer to pick up on. However, that doesn't mean it should be the only thing you focus on. What about the plot? What about the art? Those itty, bitty little stems of information present in all of your reviews isn't enough to tell me that you know what you're talking about. Go more into detail with each topic. You say the art is good. Why? You say the plot is cliche. Why? Why, why, why? Tell me more! Tell the readers more about the topic that you are reviewing! It's easy to say something to someone, it's harder to convince them. Convince me that you have a genuinely good taste in manga. Convince me that you know how to review a topic. A review is not just facts, but also claims backed up by credible evidence. Be bold with your claims, and don't forget to go in depth with them as well. If you acknowledge that, then your reviews will begin to take notice to the MAL community.

Of course, you can just disregard this message, but you also state at the end of each review that feedback is welcome (Which, by the way, probably shouldn't be included in your review). I'm just trying to give you some advice on how to write better reviews. Until then, happy reviewing!
