Yeah, i feel you, i only check MAL once in a while so it took me whilee to reply as well, then i got busy with the holiday season and ended up not replying, really sorry ! I'm doing good, how about you? Also, Happy new year! :)
Yuri on ice synopsis does look interesting, more anime figure skating sounds fun after death parade, and curious how will they portray the characters. Hmm, if you asking about 2016 anime, curious about Mob Psycho 100 from one punch man creator, and from what I watched liked Boku Dake ga Inai Machi, sort of like steins;gate with mystery theme. and have so little time to try out new anime, that don't have any new favs this year even xD
Didn't ask, it's computer graphics, hope i wrote it right in english xD
For winter holidays not doing anything special, just spending time with family, including watching anime with them. mainly detective conan and slayers xD My Christmas is after new year actually though, so new year was first winter holiday for me. And you what did?
Not sure if you told me, but what is your course if I am allowed to ask?
And don't worry at all, as you can see I have problems myself staying active on here. I check in all the time but I barely have time for... anything besides uni. ;w; It's definitely taking over my life and I could study every single day, day and night, lol...
It's a bit overwhelming how much there is to do. I've been increasing my caffeine intake because I'm too tired in the mornings ;w;
Same, same... I'm surrounded by quite smart people, so... I guess it makes you want to try even harder to do decently xD
Laately wasn't but trying to be overall, pc was broken and now was using a very slow one these months, changing now xD Gintama and Conan were the only things I was watching xD
Aww, thank you so much!! :)
How have you been? We haven't "talked" (written) each other recently.. I remember you saying you were quite busy because of uni, right? Do you have a break/vacation as well now?
I need to get back into anime again... haven't been watching much recently T-T
Hello fellow MAL member! :D
Are you a movie addict or maybe just a casual movie viewer? If films, animated or live-action ones are something you like, have you ever wondered about joining a club where you can discuss about your favorite movies with your friends on MAL?
If the above facts catch your interest, come and joinThe Cinema Club! ;)
Hi :3 Etto, finally replying after about 4 months, really sorry about that T_T I was busier than ever during April-July and this last month I can't seem to organize myself well, so never found time for MAL, still no excuse xP
Heh, Gintama is love x3 Can't blame you xD It being back gives me life x3
Nice to meet you, too ^^
That one gave me goosebumps XP
How do you like the current season in general (apart from the OkiKagu moments we got lol) ?
Oh thanks, that pretty much answered my question~"BUT it does have some few serious episodes with a deeper meaning" this sounds really good. Although the comedy part of Gintama is really silly and random, I love how it also has serious parts. Most comedy anime can't distinguish the comedy from the serious parts. I'm glad that Sket Dance also has them ^^Is the supporting character cast also as exceptionalas in Gintama (at least a bit)?
You pretty much watched everything I'd reccomend so idk XD But since you liked Haikyuu I assume that you should probably watch other sports anime like Yowamushi Pedal or Kuroko no Basket. Those were quite enjoyable.
lol those interactions, missed them so much~
Btw I see your watching Sket Dance. Wanted to start it since the cross-over episode in the 2011 anime (which was awesome), but is it actually funny/enjoyable? Comedy anime dissappointed me way too often...
And right about now I got some more free time than usual~
CLAMP have an interesting quality to make you read even the genres you don't like with interest, and if you add the likeable characters and beautiful art they're one of my favorite mangakas. But they do have one not so good point - if the manga is long then after about a half of the story which was happy and peaceful plot twists happen, and sometimes they're so unexpected and the sudden changes of atmosphere to very dark can cause headaches. Applies most of all to Tsubasa Chronicle. And all of their manga are set in the same universe in a few parallel worlds (some of the titles share the same world too) and you can see the same characters in different parallel worlds "they're living different lives but basically they're the same people" concept. And since Tsubasa is about traveling to different worlds CLAMP made sure to put there characters from ALL their previous manga. My favorites are Cardcaptor Sakura and xxxHOLiC I guess, but they're most connected to Tsubasa Chronicle so that too (tsubasa and Holic actually should be read at the same time, best after Sakura and optional after all more or less long titles)
Yep, the more you saw the more you get, and if I didn't actually watch Kuroko no Basuke I doubt I would be laughing so hard in the last two episodes, that was just genius~ Of course I'm watching the sequel, probably the only ongoing I watch right after an episode is released.
Holy crap, I am really sorry for delaying my answer for so so long! I was quite busy at the time and on top of that I was in the hospital for 6 days and I just returned, so I hope you don't mind my late reply. :)
I see that we generaly have similar tastes. I also dislike harems, not only because they tend to be sexist like 99% of the time, but I found that watching series about ''gorgeous'' girls, who all fit in some kind of popular character trope, pursuing this one average dude just plain boring. I used to watch it when I just started watching anime, but after a while, I saw how boring these anime were and stopped watching harems altogether.
I find slice-of-life anime to be very relaxing. Like when there's stressful stuff happening at school/home, it helps me to recover. Also, I started watching Hibike! Euphonium this season and I'm really enjoying it! It is slice of life/music anime combo from Kyoto Animation (sounds familiar, right?), but I find it so interesting! And not because of the cute girls and stuff. I just feel like kyoani is trying something new and I'm really really enjoying it. I always follow what Kyoani has to offer, mostly because they are known for producing quality anime (maybe not in plot, but in overall quality in animation and stuff), but I always seem to enjoy what this studio has to offer. I'm sorry this turned into my rant about anime studio. :)
And I feel you about having an eternal list of anime. Maybe the day will come when I will actually watch stuff I planned to and not found randomly while browsing web...
Fine I guess, and you?
Well I've been busy trying to read all CLAMP manga since they're connected but I'm still not finished. Also I kept all the Gintama specials and the second movie right until the day the next season started and watched it all at once, loved it of course. And started rewatching the first part, and the second time I understood a lot more parodies~

Yeah, we seem to have a lot in common starting from the character in our profile pics. XD And you have FMA and Gintama in your favorites~
OkiKagu is love. Shipped it since their first meeting <3
