I've had a love of anime and manga since late middle school, and being in early thirties now, don't see myself losing that love anytime soon. I don't find I gravitate to any one particular kind of genre, but I am generally attracted to the whimsy of things like Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli's films, as well as fantasy and period anime.
I'm likely what most people would call a "casual" anime fan, as I'm really not up to date with what's running in Japan right now, and really don't dedicate as much time to it as I once did. However, that is not to say I have given up, and am still on the look out for things that are new and exciting. :)
