The art and fashion in Veil is so pretty yes omg, I couldn't stop myself from saving a ton of screenshots from it tbh 😭 And omg yeah, not being good at depicting the whole point of your manga is horrible, I can relate with the "fashion manga but doesn't have good fashion" pet peeve!
Tbh I think Veil stays kinda the same throughout the whole manga 😭 It's just little random parts from the main two's life without getting too much into their backstories, I do hope you like it more as you read though

Honestly it's really hard to find slice of life with similar vibes, I don't think I know any that feels similar 😭 The closest I can reccomend is probably Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-Kun but it doesn't have many serious and calm scenes, doesn't really follow the main story that closely, and is fully focused on comedy and minor character developments. Plus, there is romance but it is VERY slow paced and certainly not the main focus (it's at 150+ chapters rn and the main duo still aren't dating + only recently the side couples started to actually get together). But I still think all the characters are very likeable! Also I don't know how to explain this but each and every character somehow feels bisexual asf??? AHFJGHSAKJHSJ 😭😭😭

I've also noticed you started reading Veil by the way! I hope you enjoy that one too!! That manga makes me feel very warm and cozy inside and the small jokes here and there add some nice flavor to it too. The general coziness feels a bit similar to the supermarket one and the characters (especially the orange hair dude!! I forgot his name help) are really likeable and sweet imo. But I'm sure you've noticed already that it's quite different from the supermarket thingy 😭


ALSO! UNRELATED BUT! I read the cute little granny GL until the last released chapter and GOD THEY'RE SO SWEET, THEY MAKE ME SO HAPPY 😭 I really hope the translations come out soon without too many delays! (An unrealistic wish, but still!)

Understandable because wow, the way the characters are written and the way they react to how society views women is top notch. Honestly I don't think I can relate with the artstyle issue fully, but that's still understandable. We really do need more mature lesbians, please 😭
OH YEAH, HANA MONOGATARI, I'VE HAD IT IN MY LIST FOR A WHILE AND MAN IT LOOKS CUTE AS HELL AND THE SUMMARY SOUNDS GREAT but I've also noticed that you can't find the rest of it online and wanted to hold off from reading it until it gets translated and posted somewhere.
