Have you even read the manga? If not, it's strange for you to judge the plot after just 7 episodes.
I really think you were too quick to dismiss this. Sure you could say that the first few episodes were ''uninspired voiceovers with horrid songs and the occasional clanking of "weapons"'' and that would be kinda true...if those first 7 episodes were as good as it got. But that really isn't the case.
Looking at our shared anime, (apart from Angel Beats) we have really similar tastes, so I feel you should give it another chance sometime later. And I'm not a Narutard lol.
Still pretty all-around horrible, though. Figure in the art quality, and looks like this was made with a budget of $20/ep"
Hmmm what importance do you give to visuals? This anime follows the manga, and its dirty and unrealistc character style are intentional, just like the abcense of female characters. It's a way to focus the attention on the games themselves, instead of pretty looking scenarios or animations.
You've only watched 14 episodes of 26. Still, can not understand why you did not understand the epicness of Kaiji.

I suggest you not review a short series when you haven't even watched at least half of it.
"Josei/Shoujo success formula:
MUST... HAVE ... TWO ... NANAs!
It does and it rules. Watch it. And that other multi-Nana show. Rather different, but both some of the best stuff out there"
I love Bokura Ga Ita, but this is not a review. This is a joke.
"Hence the review.
