Hello!
Would you like to join the Open Discussion Club?
If you don't want to, of course, that's fine, but if you'd like to join, we'll welcome you with open arms :-D
That's actually not the first season. Brotherhood is a total remake of the series. So you don't really need to watch 2003 version at all. I haven't watched it myself but am planning to, for the sake of completion.
Yeah, (Kanon) 2006 version was what I meant. I guess you couldn't find the link to 2002 version. It's pretty rare and not worth watching, to be honest.
I wasn't sure if you liked josei, so I didn't suggest that one but it's a masterpiece. There was this series named Natsuyuki Rendezvous I watched this season with the same genre and it was quite a pleasure to watch too.
You're welcome. Hope you like them. ;)
Well, you should definitely watch Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Kanon, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, Steins;Gate and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann as soon as you can. You're missing a lot!
As for the new ones, there's this Sword Art Online which seems to be liked by anyone including myself. (I've even read the books) There's also Kokoro Connect airing this season, which explores humans' inner self in a very interesting manner. Kuroko no Basuke which is about to finish airing is a great one as well; if you're even remotely interested in basketball, you shouldn't skip this one. Jormungand from last season was a masterpiece of action anime and Sakamichi no Apollon was another great series covering friendship, love and music in a brilliant way. There is also Hyouka with daily mysteries and brilliant animation which you'll definitely like if you liked Clannad. There were plenty of others but I guess these should you keep you enjoying for a good while.

For Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann:

Found them both at tokyotosho.
No, you don't need to watch Chaos;HEAd. The story is not related, just the concept.
If you would want to watch something different, try Steins;Gate. It's one of the exceptional series I have watched in a while.
