Anime, video games, movies... The usual stuff.
I grew up on anime without knowing it was from Japan; really discovered, and got heavily involved around fifteen. I've seen a lot of stuff, had a lot of fun, been member or leader of several clubs, and maintained a fairly decent website for a while. Essential to obscure; old school to modern; ultra-violence to flowery romance. My favorite era has got to be late 80's through early 90's. I do love this medium.

I get a lot out of deep, emotional dramas and thought-provoking, cerebral explorations; but when it comes to jumping right in, I go for the simple, instant gratification of action and comedy; though it's got to have something to it.
I have trouble giving things a bad rating unless they are truly terrible; I can usually find at least some redeeming qualities, even in something I didn't particularly enjoy. And I happen to like a lot of things that are less than popular, or objectively questionable.

I'm still adding to my Anime List; it's nowhere near complete.
