1. "Oshi no Ko" Season 2
É evidente que estou em êxtase com a expectativa de assistir a este anime. Provavelmente será o mais bem avaliado e popular da temporada de verão de 2024. Li o mangá, e esta segunda temporada de "Oshi no Ko" abrangerá o esplêndido e extenso arco do teatro. O trailer está muito bem produzido, e espero que o anime consiga fazer com que os personagens atuem de maneira tão convincente quanto no mangá, com atuações que pareçam as melhores já vistas.
Provavelmente será transmitido pela Netflix, que costuma dublar suas obras. Se for dublado, assistirei não só esta temporada, mas também reverei a primeira temporada com minha namorada.
2. Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest
Não vou assistir a uma continuação ou spin-off sem ter visto os 328 episódios anteriores. Nunca me interessei por essa franquia, pois a considero genérica, extensa e não faço parte do seu público-alvo.
3. Kami no Tou: Ouji no Kikan
A primeira temporada adaptou a melhor parte do manhwa, pelo menos na minha opinião. Embora tenha sido boa, ela não foi uma adaptação de excelência devido aos inúmeros cortes e ao ritmo apressado. Felizmente, a segunda temporada mudou de estúdio e de diretor-chefe, mantendo apenas o excelente diretor de som, o que me deixou otimista. Vou assistir porque a trama é instigante e diferente, e estou ansioso para ver como os eventos se desenrolam.
4. Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go de Dereru Tonari no Alya-san
Com uma breve leitura da sinopse, é possível perceber que a proposta do romance entre uma linda garota russa e um rapaz que finge não entender russo tem tudo para ser uma esplêndida comédia romântica. Além disso, trata-se de um anime do estúdio Doga Kobo, o mesmo que produz "Oshi no Ko". O diretor deste anime fez parte da equipe de "Oshi no Ko", dirigindo alguns episódios, e também foi o diretor de "Shikimori-san".
É importante destacar a direção de "Shikimori-san" porque, apesar de não ser um anime sensacional, possui um design de personagens espetacular. Pelo trailer, o anime da Russinha parece estar muito bem produzido, especialmente no design dos personagens, com destaque para os olhos, uma marca registrada deste diretor.
Outro fator positivo em relação à produção é que o anime estava inicialmente previsto para a temporada passada, mas foi adiado, proporcionando muito mais tempo para sua produção. Por fim, o mangá é bem avaliado, o que também indica o potencial de uma boa trama. Com certeza vou assistir a este anime e, se não alcançar pelo menos uma nota nove, será uma tremenda decepção.
5. Isekai Suicide Squad
Quadrinho adaptado para anime? Quando isso realmente deu certo? Entendo que pode ganhar popularidade entre os fãs da DC, mas, pela minha sanidade mental, pretendo manter distância. Além disso, esta versão do Coringa é decepcionante, e parece que não teremos a presença do Pistoleiro interpretado por Will Smith.
6. Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou, Aruiwa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen Season II
A primeira temporada foi lançada em 2020, mas eu não a assisti na época por não me interessar pela premissa, e minha opinião não mudou desde então. Além disso, a primeira temporada recebeu críticas negativas e não ganhou muita popularidade. Por fim, embora tenha havido uma mudança de diretor para a segunda temporada, o estúdio responsável pela animação permanece o mesmo.
7. Gimai Seikatsu
A premissa pode parecer comum à primeira vista: um romance entre "meio-irmãos", cujos pais se casaram novamente, unindo suas famílias de relacionamentos anteriores. No entanto, após assistir ao trailer, fica evidente uma maturidade e leveza que transcendem as expectativas típicas desse tipo de obra. Com uma aura bastante romântica, o anime promete um romance genuíno e concentrado. Além disso, o respaldo do material original bem avaliado adiciona confiança na qualidade da narrativa. Embora eu esteja hesitante em assistir, pois requer um clima de espírito adequado, ficarei surpreso se obtiver avaliações muito ruins.
8. NieR:Automata Ver1.1a Part 2
A primeira temporada teve momentos espetaculares tanto em termos de animação quanto de enredo, porém também apresentou diversos momentos vergonhosos em ambas as áreas. A produção foi marcada por desafios, incluindo um hiato, e mesmo após retornar com notáveis melhorias na animação, a narrativa se tornou insatisfatória devido à sua corrida execução. Sinto que saturei desta franquia, dada as suas inconsistências. No entanto, a expectativa para a segunda temporada é mais elevada que para a primeira, especialmente devido ao trailer fabuloso e ao envolvimento da Lisa, além do renome do estúdio A-1 Pictures que está em jogo.
9. Isekai Shikkaku
Achei o trailer bastante desinteressante, e também não sou fã de antropomorfismo. A mensagem do anime parece ser uma crítica a uma filosofia melancólica que não consegue encontrar sentido na vida e busca apenas um lugar ideal para uma morte poética. Essa filosofia é um lixo, e embora fazer piada com as falhas em alcançá-la possa ter algum efeito momentâneo, duvido muito que seja suficiente para sustentar uma obra inteira.
10. 2.5-jigen no Ririsa
Um enredo que envolve uma garota aficionada por cosplay e um rapaz encarregado de fotografá-la. Parece ser uma versão mais fraca de "Sono Bisque Doll", com personagens menos cativantes e um protagonista mais nerd que prefere garotas 2D às reais. Além disso, o mangá não recebeu avaliações muito positivas, e alguns dos desenhos dos personagens não me agradaram. Não posso afirmar que será um fracasso absoluto, mas desejo boa sorte àqueles que apostarem neste anime.
11. Megami no Café Terrace Season 2
Esta segunda temporada mantém o mesmo estúdio e diretor da primeira, que não foi bem recebida pelo público. A proposta é simples, porém saturada, com elementos genéricos e algumas situações constrangedoras. Apesar disso, ainda há possibilidade de ter alguns bons momentos, mas diante das baixas expectativas, não arriscaria investir meu tempo nesse anime.
12. Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan
Este anime apresenta, sem dúvida, o trailer mais excêntrico que vi nesta temporada, e o incomum sempre me atrai. Destaco especialmente a primeira música do trailer, que é absolutamente sensacional. Embora haja um toque de antropomorfismo, parece ser utilizado com parcimônia, não de forma gratuita, e sem incluir relações românticas, o que pessoalmente aprecio. No entanto, minha principal preocupação reside na qualidade da computação gráfica, que parece estar um tanto dissonante. Também me preocupa alguns exageros presentes nas piadas, que podem fazer perder o contraste. Por último, o fato de ser um anime escolar com garotas fofinhas me deixa hesitante. Decidi não acompanhar o anime, mas talvez possa render boas risadas para aqueles que decidirem dar uma chance.
13. Giji Harem
Uma jovem talentosa cria e atua com uma variedade de personagens que integram o harém imaginário de seu colega de classe, que almeja fervorosamente a popularidade. O anime apresenta uma premissa original e a protagonista emana carisma. No entanto, a produção parece carecer de recursos, pois o estúdio é de porte reduzido e o diretor está estreando em sua função de diretor-chefe. Embora reconheça que animes de romance cotidiano não exijam a mesma qualidade de animação dos de ação, há um limite para a tolerância com produções de qualidade tão inferior.
14. Atri: My Dear Moments
O anime é sobretudo uma aventura, permeada por dramas e toques de romance, em um mundo futurista e pós-apocalíptico. O trailer evidencia uma produção caprichada, embora alguns momentos de computação gráfica pareçam artificiais. Prefiro obras onde o drama se desenvolve gradualmente; entregá-lo logo no início causa uma angústia desconfortável. Além disso, o clima da animação parece não estar muito alinhado com a proposta da trama.
15. Senpai wa Otokonoko
Seria mais um romance yuri escolar se a garota que recebesse a declaração de sua amiga não fosse um transgênero. Em outras palavras, é um anime sobre uma adolescente lésbica baixinha correndo atrás e sendo atraída por um garoto que se veste e se passa por mulher. O mundo está moderno demais para mim, prefiro romances mais tradicionais.
16. Naze Boku no Sekai wo Daremo Oboeteinai no ka?
Embora não seja um dos lançamentos mais aguardados da temporada, este anime possui potencial para conquistar popularidade, principalmente por ser uma produção de ação com uma aparente qualidade. Além disso, sua proposta é intrigante, pois, se conseguirmos suspender nossa descrença em relação à premissa, a trama promete oferecer uma abordagem fresca ao gênero de fantasia com elementos de ficção científica.
17. Shoushimin Series
A sinopse deste anime é um tanto vaga, o que torna difícil fazer uma previsão precisa, mas isso parece ser intencional, já que a proposta da obra é ser um anime de mistério. Quanto ao trailer, a produção é bem-feita, e destaco especialmente a trilha sonora, que achei cativante. A música é bela, se encaixa bem e transmite uma certa tensão. Na minha opinião, a tensão é justamente algo que poderia ter sido mais explorado no trailer para convencer totalmente de que a obra é promissora.
18. Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria
O anime de Harry Potter espadachim brandindo uma zanbatou, não me atrai. Embora tenha suportado os primeiros filmes de Harry Potter, estou saturado de ver repetidamente Hogwarts em versões animadas. Além disso, a concepção de um mago incapaz de usar magia assemelha-se à de Mashle, e a introdução da espada de Cloud não modificará essa essência.
19. Katsute Mahou Shoujo to Aku wa Tekitai shiteita.
Mais um anime onde o vilão se apaixona pela heroína e vice-versa. No fundo, o romance entre pessoas de facções antagônicas é apenas outra versão de Romeu e Julieta. Não consigo encontrar bons motivos para assistir apenas por isso. Talvez alguém se agrade pela comédia típica desse tipo de anime ou pelo fato de a heroína ser uma garota mágica.
20. Maougun Saikyou no Majutsushi wa Ningen datta
O trailer é cativante e a proposta do anime traz uma reviravolta interessante. Além disso, é um anime de ação com um protagonista extremamente forte. No entanto, preocupa bastante o fato de o material base, que é o mangá, ser mal avaliado e o estúdio do anime ser pequeno.
21. Hazurewaku no "Joutai Ijou Skill" de Saikyou ni Natta Ore ga Subete wo Juurin suru made
Um anime Isekai, onde o protagonista é menosprezado e rejeitado pela deusa do mundo para onde foi enviado, devido à sua considerada fraqueza. O protagonista então embarca em uma jornada de vingança contra essa deusa que o baniu para uma masmorra da qual ninguém jamais voltou vivo. Embora a premissa não seja totalmente original, tem potencial a ser explorado. Ressalto, no entanto, que o anime é produzido por um estúdio pequeno, e que o trailer sugere um uso considerável de computação gráfica, o que pode não agradar a muitos, apesar de aparentar ser um CGI de boa qualidade. Portanto, o sucesso deste anime, na minha opinião, dependerá tanto da aceitação do público em relação à qualidade das imagens quanto da quantidade de cenas de ação.
22. Make Heroine ga Oosugiru!
Se trata de uma comédia romântica, onde uma garota, após ser rejeitada por seu interesse amoroso, encontra consolo nos braços do protagonista que estava à espreita. Desagrada uma abordagem em que o protagonista coleta as migalhas deixadas por outro rapaz, pois essa dinâmica transmite uma mensagem de desvalorização. Como se não bastasse, essa mesma dinâmica se repete com mais duas garotas, formando um harém de restos. Para que uma garota encontre o seu príncipe, ela precisa ser uma princesa. Quem acredita em algo diferente disso é um iludido que provavelmente terá frustrações e decepções.
23. Koi wa Futago de Warikirenai
O anime centra-se em um triângulo amoroso envolvendo duas irmãs e seu vizinho, que é um amigo de infância. Vale ressaltar que este é o segundo projeto animado produzido por este estúdio, e a novel em que se baseia é relativamente desconhecida. Embora a premissa não seja ruim, parece bastante simples e é preocupante a falta de mais informações sobre a trama. Além disso, o diretor só possui uma outra experiência como diretor-chefe, que foi no anime "Isekai Shoukan wa Nidome desu", uma obra considerada de qualidade bastante duvidosa.
24. Tasogare Out Focus
É uma história de romance Yaoi, também conhecido como BL (Boys Love). Embora não me importe de assistir animes que contenham algum romance gay ou lésbico, quando o enredo se concentra exclusivamente nisso, e de forma excessivamente melodramática, não é algo que me agrade.
25. Madougushi Dahliya wa Utsumukanai
Em um outro mundo, nossa jovem protagonista reencarnada se vê desiludida, pois antes de vê-la casada, seu pai falece repentinamente. Sua decepção atinge o ápice quando, às vésperas do casamento planejado, seu noivo, que era aprendiz do seu pai, a abandona confessando estar apaixonado por outra mulher. Frustrada e revoltada, a protagonista abraça o empoderamento feminino, focando apenas em sua autoafirmação e dedicando-se ao ofício aprendido com seu pai. Obviamente, é uma trama com uma forte propaganda ideológica e que, além disso, a ambientação não se alinha plenamente à sua proposta, sendo desnecessário ser um Isekai.
26. Boku no Tsuma wa Kanjou ga Nai
Um anime que retrata um otaku solitário e incel que se apaixona pela sua empregada robô e a pede em casamento. É realmente triste o mundo que construímos. Que droga de mundo é esse!
27. Nige Jouzu no Wakagimi
O primeiro trailer parecia um tanto estático, mas o segundo apresentou uma fluidez. Independente disso, os dois trailers destacam um anime de beleza notável, com uma arte detalhada. Além disso, é interessante a proposta de ser um anime histórico que narra a ascensão de um xogum. Apesar de eu ter uma apreciação especial pelo estúdio CloverWorks, reconhecido pela excelência em seus trabalhos, tanto em profundidade de conteúdo quanto em animação de qualidade, mantenho algumas reservas em relação a esta obra, principalmente devido às avaliações negativas ao seu mangá.
28. Shy 2nd Season
A segunda temporada de um anime lançado no final do ano passado, que recebeu bastante críticas negativas e tem pouca popularidade. A única razão aparente para a existência desta continuação é que sua produção provavelmente foi acordada antes mesmo do lançamento da primeira temporada.
29. VTuber Nandaga Haishin Kiri Wasuretara Densetsu ni Natteta
Um anime sobre uma VTuber que ganha fama por se embriagar durante suas transmissões ao vivo. É lamentável imaginar uma sociedade que valorize esse tipo de conteúdo de streaming, mas ainda mais deplorável é ver um anime fazendo disso o seu conteúdo. No entanto, talvez seja possível encontrar algum humor nesse anime, especialmente porque a protagonista parece carismática.
30. Delico's Nursery
Outro exemplo da tendência de humanizar monstros, explorando sua capacidade de desempenhar papéis de pais amorosos. A mensagem subentendida é que até mesmo vampiros, geralmente retratados como assassinos sanguinários, são os bonzinhos, enquanto aqueles egoístas que se recusam a deixar que roubem seu sangue são os cristãos, heterossexuais e capitalistas, considerados o mal de toda a humanidade.
31. Isekai Yururi Kikou: Kosodateshinagara Boukensha Shimasu
É o isekai do bom pai. Um homem adota duas crianças que encontra em uma floresta perigoso de outro mundo. A trama se desenvolve com ele criando essas crianças nesse ambiente. Apesar de ser um isekai, a premissa de cuidar de crianças não é algo que chame atenção ou desperte grande interesse.
32. Kono Sekai wa Fukanzen Sugiru
Este anime narra uma aventura em um mundo mágico alternativo, com uma história centrada em uma dupla de protagonistas cuja dinâmica aparentemente não se encaixa harmoniosamente. Este mundo é pacífico, e o enredo se desenrola na busca pela cura de doenças. Pelo menos é a motivação inicial apresentada, já que os protagonistas guardam segredos que os impulsionam. No entanto, é justamente a falta de uma motivação convincente e clara que se revela o principal problema desta obra, pois não consegui encontrar atrativos nessa jornada; pelo contrário, encontrei coisas desestimulantes. O fato de o mangá não receber boas avaliações é mais um indicativo de que estou certo nesta opinião sobre a trama. Além disso, os traços dos personagens e as cores utilizadas no anime sugerem um apelo ao público mais jovem. Embora a qualidade visual seja polida, há uma certa artificialidade perceptível devido ao uso de computação gráfica.
33. Elf-san wa Yaserarenai.
O anime que mistura humor ecchi com personagens plus size vai te fazer pensar duas vezes antes de dormir. O ecchi das gordas, isso mesmo, tenham pesadelos com esse anime. Parece que até no Japão, onde muitos esperariam menos sensibilidade, estão abraçando essa droga de politicamente correto.
34. Bye-Bye, Earth
O anime aborda o tema antropomórfico, que pessoalmente não me atrai, especialmente quando é explorado de maneira excessiva e gratuita. Além disso, a protagonista, uma jovem empoderada que empunha uma espada do seu tamanho, é a única personagem humana neste universo. Seu objetivo nesta jornada é se sentir parte deste mundo. Francamente, parece uma propaganda política ideológica, descarada, apressada, saturada. Um saco!
35. Ore wa Subete wo "Parry" suru: Gyaku Kanchigai no Sekai Saikyou wa Boukensha ni Naritai
Um protagonista parrudo em busca de se tornar um herói, uma princesa cuja vida é salva de um atentado, e reinos vizinhos tramando para tomar a nação. Embora não seja uma proposta ruim, parece um tanto genérica. O trailer também segue esse padrão genérico, com um estilo gráfico típico de temporada, embora haja um cuidado visível nos detalhes.
36. Mob kara Hajimaru Tansaku Eiyuutan
A trama deste anime gira em torno de um protagonista fraco que, ao encontrar um tesouro em um mundo de fantasia, ganha força. Em menos de duas linhas, a essência da história é resumida. Animes de aventura tornam-se problemáticos quando carecem de um propósito e uma motivação convincente, transformando a exploração do mundo em sua jornada. Pois esse enfoque não cativa nem estimula o espectador a continuar assistindo.
37. Na Nare Hana Nare
Não é possível obter muitas informações sobre esse anime, pois a sinopse é extremamente vaga. Trata-se de uma obra original e nem mesmo o gênero ou tema foram divulgados. A única coisa que sabemos é que conta a história de seis garotas diferentes. Não apostaria muito nessa produção, visto que o estúdio responsável parece ser pequeno para garantir a qualidade de uma obra original. Além disso, o trailer, na melhor das hipóteses, é genérico e bonitinho, com uso moderado de computação gráfica, fluidez apenas razoável e com poucos personagens em cena.
38. Shinmai Ossan Boukensha, Saikyou Party ni Shinu hodo Kitaerarete Muteki ni Naru.
Estou entusiasmado com esta proposta, pois transmite uma mensagem moral muito positiva: a ideia de que é possível iniciar uma carreira mesmo em idade avançada para os padrões convencionais e ainda assim alcançar excelência. Além disso, a música do trailer me cativou profundamente. Ela harmoniza perfeitamente com a obra, elevando o espírito e evocando uma forte nostalgia, reminiscente dos animes clássicos. Embora não saiba se essa música será a mesma da abertura, é promissor saber que o diretor-chefe está encarregado da trilha sonora da opening. Minha empolgação apenas se torna moderada devido à reputação da série mais bem avaliada deste estúdio ser o infame "Shuumatsu no Walküre".
39. Sengoku Youko: Senma Konton-hen
Esta série é uma sequência de um anime que estreou em janeiro deste ano. Inicialmente, não estava prevista uma segunda temporada, mas devido a problemas de produção e uma recepção bastante negativa, a obra foi dividida em duas partes, com uma redução no número de episódios. Lamento o sucedido, especialmente porque o mangá recebeu boas críticas, o que me faz acreditar que tinha um grande potencial. É provável que esta segunda temporada tenha um público bastante restrito, com a maioria dos espectadores sendo fãs do mangá.
40. Mayonaka Punch
Outro anime da temporada abordando o universo dos youtubers. Parece que essa temática está ganhando popularidade. Dado que temos apenas uma breve sinopse disponível no momento, é difícil fazer muitas previsões sobre a qualidade desta obra. O trailer apresenta uma atmosfera animada, com apenas personagens femininas. Há a possibilidade de um enredo com romance lésbico, mas parece que o foco principal será na comédia. Vale ressaltar que a demografia é Seinen. Pessoalmente, não sou muito fã de animes centrados principalmente na comédia, então provavelmente não assistirei.
41. Dungeon no Naka no Hito
Este anime conta a história de uma garotinha responsável pela manutenção de masmorras. Quem poderia se interessar por um enredo sobre zeladoria? É realmente necessário explicar por que essa proposta parece pouco atrativa? Além disso, a animação é caracterizada por traços simplificados e qualidade mediana. Para piorar, o mangá recebeu críticas negativas.
42. Kinnikuman: Kanpeki Chоujin Shiso-hen
Este anime é uma continuação de uma série de 1991, que por sua vez já era uma continuação de uma série de 1983. É surpreendente ver uma continuação em 2024, e já está confirmada a segunda temporada. A demografia é shounen, mas é voltado para uma faixa etária bastante jovem, como evidenciado pelos traços e pela temática de super-heróis alienígenas. Não faço parte do público-alvo deste anime, logo não tenho planos de assistir.
43. Ramen Akaneko
Este é um anime sobre uma cuidadora de gatos. Mas há um toque peculiar: os gatos gerenciam uma loja de ramen. Apesar de os gatos neste anime terem características humanas, a história principal continua sendo sobre a cuidadora dos gatos dessa loja. O que há de interessante em uma trama sobre cuidar de gatos? Eu curto gatos, acharia fofinho o primeiro episódio, mas do segundo episódio em diante já estaria desesperado querendo que acabasse.
44. Grendizer U
Esta é uma adaptação de um mangá futurista bastante antigo, lançado em 1975. Naturalmente, alguns conceitos parecem ultrapassados e o anime não demonstra sensibilidade em atualizá-los, especialmente em relação aos traços dos robôs. Além disso, embora a animação genérica tenha evoluído significativamente em comparação com alguns anos atrás, ainda é uma produção típica da temporada, com abundante uso de computação gráfica e alguns momentos que destoam. A situação se agrava quando consideramos que se trata de uma produção genérica de um estúdio de menor porte.
45. Tensui no Sakuna-hime
Neste anime, a deusa da colheita combate demônios enquanto trabalha junto aos homens para domar a terra. Estou simplificando, pois há mais elementos nesta trama, mas o cerne é esse mesmo. Não me incluo no público-alvo dessa proposta, pois não acredito nessas mitologias animistas e a trama parece muito focada nisso. Logo, não pretendo acompanhar esse anime.
46. Tasuuketsu
Um anime psicológico que combina elementos de suspense, drama e ação parece promissor. O trailer é aceitável, mas é preocupante que poucas pessoas estejam aguardando por esse anime. A situação se torna ainda mais alarmante ao perceber que, embora o mangá esteja em publicação desde 2013, é praticamente desconhecido.
47. Cardfight!! Vanguard: Divinez Season 2
Embora seja rotulado como a segunda temporada, na realidade, esta é a sétima iteração dessa franquia iniciada em 2021. Desde sua estreia, todas as temporadas têm sido consistentemente mal avaliadas, com uma audiência bastante reduzida. A explicação para esse fenômeno parece residir no fato de que o anime não foi criado para atender verdadeiramente ao público, mas sim para atender a certas exigências do mercado televisivo.
48. 0 Saiji Start Dash Monogatari
É um anime curtinho, desses de 5 minutos onde, se tirar a abertura e o encerramento, sobram dois ou três minutos de conteúdo. Não possui uma sinopse elaborada, pois a trama é simples: trata-se de um Isekai envolvendo um trapaceiro reencarnado no corpo de uma garotinha, filha de um duque, que busca se tornar poderosa sem motivo aparente. Até o momento, o estúdio, diretor e trailer ainda não foram divulgados, faltando apenas um mês para a estreia. Considerando a duração limitada, não se pode esperar muito desse anime, e sinceramente, não estou depositando muita fé nele.
49. Harimaware! Koinu 2nd Season
Anime de um cãozinho que se dedica a espalhar adesivos de cachorro por toda a cidade. Trata-se de uma série infantil com episódios de quatro minutos, projetada para ser a mais encantadora e fofa possível. Embora não seja o público-alvo desse tipo de conteúdo, é inegável o seu apelo para as crianças.
50. Yami Shibai 13
Esta é a décima terceira temporada deste anime. Ele é uma presença frequente em minhas análises sobre as próximas estreias, quase sempre figurando nessas listas. Assim como nas vezes anteriores, trata-se de um anime de terror curto, com episódios de apenas quatro minutos. What to expect from the Summer 2024 season.
Blue: It will be very successful. Green: It will be good. Brown: Maybe it's good. Red: I don’t recommend it.
1. "Oshi no Ko" Season 2
It is clear that I am ecstatic with the anticipation of watching this anime. It will probably be the highest-rated and most popular of the 2024 summer season. I have read the manga, and this second season of "Oshi no Ko" will cover the splendid and extensive theater arc. The trailer is very well produced, and I hope the anime manages to make the characters act as convincingly as in the manga, with performances that seem like the best ever seen.
It will probably be broadcast on Netflix, which usually dubs its works. If it's dubbed, I'll not only watch this season, but I'll also rewatch the first season with my girlfriend.
2. Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest
I won't watch a sequel or spin-off without having seen the previous 328 episodes. I was never interested in this franchise, as I consider it generic, extensive and I am not part of its target audience.
3. Kami no Tou: Ouji no Kikan
The first season adapted the best part of the manhwa, at least in my opinion. Although it was good, it was not an excellent adaptation due to the numerous cuts and the rushed pace. Fortunately, the second season changed studios and chief director, keeping only the excellent sound director, which made me optimistic. I'm going to watch it because the plot is thought-provoking and different, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the events unfold.
4. Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go by Dereru Tonari no Alya-san
With a brief reading of the synopsis, it is possible to see that the romance proposal between a beautiful Russian girl and a boy who pretends not to understand Russian has everything to be a splendid romantic comedy. Furthermore, it is an anime from the Doga Kobo studio, the same one that produces "Oshi no Ko". The director of this anime was part of the "Oshi no Ko" team, directing some episodes, and was also the director of "Shikimori-san".
It's important to highlight the direction of "Shikimori-san" because, despite not being a sensational anime, it has spectacular character design. From the trailer, Russinha's anime appears to be very well produced, especially in the character design, with emphasis on the eyes, a trademark of this director.
Another positive factor regarding production is that the anime was initially scheduled for last season, but was postponed, providing much more time for its production. Finally, the manga is well rated, which also indicates the potential for a good plot. I'm definitely going to watch this anime and if it doesn't reach at least a nine, it will be a huge disappointment.
5. Isekai Suicide Squad
Comic adapted into anime? When did this actually work? I understand that it may gain popularity among DC fans, but for my sanity, I intend to keep my distance. Furthermore, this version of the Joker is disappointing, and it looks like we won't have Deadshot played by Will Smith.
6. Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou, Aruiwa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen Season II
The first season was released in 2020, but I didn't watch it at the time because I wasn't interested in the premise, and my opinion hasn't changed since then. Furthermore, the first season received negative reviews and did not gain much popularity. Finally, although there was a change of director for the second season, the studio responsible for animation remains the same.
7. Gimai Seikatsu
The premise may seem common at first glance: a romance between "stepbrothers" whose parents have remarried, uniting their families from previous relationships. However, after watching the trailer, a maturity and lightness that transcend the typical expectations of this type of work becomes evident. With a very romantic aura, the anime promises a genuine and concentrated romance. Furthermore, the support of well-reviewed source material adds confidence in the quality of the narrative. Although I'm hesitant to watch it as it requires a proper mood, I'll be surprised if it gets really bad reviews.
8. NieR:Automata Ver1.1a Part 2
The first season had spectacular moments both in terms of animation and plot, but it also presented several shameful moments in both areas. The production was marked by challenges, including a hiatus, and even after returning with notable improvements in animation, the narrative became unsatisfactory due to its rushed execution. I feel like I've had enough of this franchise, given its inconsistencies. However, expectations for the second season are higher than for the first, especially due to the fabulous trailer and Lisa's involvement, in addition to the reputation of the A-1 Pictures studio that is at stake.
9. Isekai Shikkaku
I found the trailer quite uninteresting, and I'm not a fan of anthropomorphism either. The anime's message seems to be a critique of a melancholic philosophy that cannot find meaning in life and only seeks an ideal place for a poetic death. This philosophy is rubbish, and although making fun of failures to achieve it may have some momentary effect, I highly doubt it will be enough to sustain an entire work.
10. 2.5-jigen no Ririsa
A plot that involves a girl who is passionate about cosplay and a boy in charge of photographing her. It seems to be a weaker version of "Sono Bisque Doll", with less endearing characters and a nerdier protagonist who prefers 2D girls to real ones. Furthermore, the manga didn't receive very positive reviews, and some of the character designs didn't please me. I can't say that it will be an absolute failure, but I wish good luck to those who bet on this anime.
11. Megami no Café Terrace Season 2
This second season maintains the same studio and director as the first, which was not well received by the public. The proposal is simple, but saturated, with generic elements and some embarrassing situations. Despite this, there is still the possibility of having some good moments, but given the low expectations, I wouldn't risk investing my time in this anime.
12. Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan
This anime features, without a doubt, the most eccentric trailer I've seen this season, and the unusual always appeals to me. I especially highlight the first song in the trailer, which is absolutely sensational. Although there is a touch of anthropomorphism, it seems to be used sparingly, not gratuitously, and without including romantic relationships, which I personally appreciate. However, my main concern lies in the quality of the computer graphics, which seems to be somewhat dissonant. I'm also worried about some of the exaggerations present in the jokes, which can make the contrast less. Lastly, the fact that it's a school anime with cute girls makes me hesitant. I decided not to follow the anime, but maybe it can provide a good laugh for those who decide to give it a chance.
13. Giji Harem
A talented young woman creates and acts as a variety of characters that form part of her classmate's imaginary harem, who fervently seeks popularity. The anime presents an original premise and the protagonist exudes charisma. However, the production appears to lack resources, as the studio is small in size and the director is debuting in his role as chief director. Although I recognize that everyday romance animes do not require the same quality of animation as action ones, there is a limit to tolerance with productions of such lower quality.
14. Atri: My Dear Moments
The anime is above all an adventure, permeated by drama and touches of romance, in a futuristic and post-apocalyptic world. The trailer shows an exquisite production, although some moments of computer graphics seem artificial. I prefer works where the drama develops gradually; giving it away early on causes uncomfortable angst. Furthermore, the atmosphere of the animation does not seem to be very aligned with the plot's proposal.
15. Senpai wa Otokonoko
It would be more of a high school yuri romance if the girl receiving her friend's declaration wasn't transgender. In other words, it's an anime about a short lesbian teenager chasing and being attracted to a boy who dresses and passes as a woman. The world is too modern for me, I prefer more traditional novels.
16. Naze Boku no Sekai wo Daremo Oboeteinai no ka?
Although it is not one of the most anticipated releases of the season, this anime has the potential to gain popularity, mainly because it is an action production with apparent quality. Furthermore, its proposal is intriguing, because, if we can suspend our disbelief in relation to the premise, the plot promises to offer a fresh approach to the fantasy genre with science fiction elements.
17. Shoushimin Series
The synopsis of this anime is somewhat vague, which makes it difficult to make an accurate prediction, but this seems to be intentional, as the work's purpose is to be a mystery anime. As for the trailer, the production is well done, and I especially highlight the soundtrack, which I found captivating. The music is beautiful, fits well and conveys a certain tension. In my opinion, the tension is precisely something that could have been explored more in the trailer to fully convince that the work is promising.
18. Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria
The Harry Potter anime swordsman brandishing a zanbatou doesn't appeal to me. Although I endured the first few Harry Potter films, I'm fed up with repeatedly seeing Hogwarts in animated versions. Furthermore, the conception of a wizard incapable of using magic resembles that of Mashle, and the introduction of Cloud's sword will not change this essence.
19. Katsute Mahou Shoujo to Aku wa Tekitai shiteita.
Another anime where the villain falls in love with the heroine and vice versa. Ultimately, romance between people from antagonistic factions is just another version of Romeo and Juliet. I can't find any good reasons to watch it just for that reason. Maybe someone will like the comedy typical of this type of anime or the fact that the heroine is a magical girl.
20. Maougun Saikyou no Majutsushi wa Ningen datta
The trailer is captivating and the anime's proposal brings an interesting twist. Furthermore, it is an action anime with an extremely strong protagonist. However, it is quite worrying that the base material, which is the manga, is poorly evaluated and the anime studio is small.
21. Hazurewaku no "Joutai Ijou Skill" de Saikyou ni Natta Ore ga Subete wo Juurin suru made
An Isekai anime, where the protagonist is belittled and rejected by the goddess of the world where he was sent, due to his considered weakness. The protagonist then embarks on a journey of revenge against this goddess who banished him to a dungeon from which no one has ever returned alive. Although the premise is not entirely original, it has potential to be explored. I emphasize, however, that the anime is produced by a small studio, and that the trailer suggests considerable use of computer graphics, which may not please many, despite appearing to be good quality CGI. Therefore, the success of this anime, in my opinion, will depend both on the public's acceptance of the quality of the images and the quantity of action scenes.
22. Make Heroine ga Oosugiru!
It is a romantic comedy, where a girl, after being rejected by her love interest, finds solace in the arms of the protagonist who was lying in wait. An approach in which the protagonist collects the crumbs left by another boy is disliked, as this dynamic conveys a message of devaluation. As if that weren't enough, this same dynamic is repeated with two more girls, forming a harem of remains. For a girl to find her prince, she needs to be a princess. Anyone who believes in anything other than this is a deluded person who will probably experience frustration and disappointment.
23. Koi wa Futago de Warikirenai
The anime centers on a love triangle involving two sisters and their neighbor, who is a childhood friend. It is worth mentioning that this is the second animated project produced by this studio, and the novel on which it is based is relatively unknown. Although the premise is not bad, it seems quite simple and the lack of more information about the plot is worrying. Furthermore, the director only has one other experience as chief director, which was in the anime "Isekai Shoukan wa Nidome desu", a work considered to be of very dubious quality.
24. Tasogare Out Focus
It is a Yaoi romance story, also known as BL (Boys Love). Although I don't mind watching anime that contain some gay or lesbian romance, when the plot focuses exclusively on that, and in an overly melodramatic way, it's not something I enjoy.
25. Madougushi Dahliya wa Utsumukanai
In another world, our young reincarnated protagonist finds herself disillusioned, because before seeing her married, her father suddenly passes away. Her disappointment reaches its peak when, on the eve of the planned wedding, her fiancé, who was her father's apprentice, leaves her confessing to being in love with another woman. Frustrated and angry, the protagonist embraces female empowerment, focusing only on her self-affirmation and dedicating herself to the craft she learned from her father. Obviously, it is a plot with strong ideological propaganda and, in addition, the setting does not fully align with its proposal, making it unnecessary to be an Isekai.
26. Boku no Tsuma wa Kanjou ga Nai
An anime that portrays a lonely otaku and incel who falls in love with his robot maid and asks her to marry him. The world we have built is truly sad. What a damn world this is!
27. Nige Jouzu no Wakagimi
The first trailer seemed somewhat static, but the second one had a fluid feel to it. Regardless, the two trailers highlight an anime of remarkable beauty, with detailed art. Furthermore, the proposal of being a historical anime that narrates the rise of a shogun is interesting. Although I have a special appreciation for the CloverWorks studio, recognized for the excellence of its work, both in depth of content and quality animation, I maintain some reservations regarding this work, mainly due to the negative reviews of its manga.
28. Shy 2nd Season
The second season of an anime released at the end of last year, which received a lot of negative reviews and has little popularity. The only apparent reason for the existence of this continuation is that its production was probably agreed upon even before the release of the first season.
29. VTuber Nandaga Haishin Kiri Wasuretara Densetsu ni Natteta
An anime about a VTuber who gains fame for getting drunk during her live broadcasts. It is regrettable to imagine a society that values this type of streaming content, but even more deplorable is to see an anime making this its content. However, it may be possible to find some humor in this anime, especially since the protagonist seems charismatic.
30. Delico's Nursery
Another example of the tendency to humanize monsters by exploring their ability to play loving parent roles. The underlying message is that even vampires, usually portrayed as bloodthirsty killers, are the good guys, while those selfish people who refuse to let them steal their blood are the Christian, heterosexual, capitalist types, considered the evil of all humanity.
31. Isekai Yururi Kikou: Kosodateshinagara Boukensha Shimasu
It's the good father's isekai. A man adopts two children he finds in a dangerous forest from another world. The plot develops with him raising these children in this environment. Despite being an isekai, the premise of taking care of children is not something that attracts attention or arouses great interest.
32. Kono Sekai wa Fukanzen Sugiru
This anime narrates an adventure in an alternative magical world, with a story centered on a pair of protagonists whose dynamics apparently do not fit harmoniously. This world is peaceful, and the plot unfolds in the search for a cure for diseases. At least that's the initial motivation presented, as the protagonists keep secrets that drive them. However, it is precisely the lack of a convincing and clear motivation that proves to be the main problem of this work, as I was unable to find attractions in this journey; on the contrary, I found things discouraging. The fact that the manga does not receive good reviews is yet another indication that I am right in this opinion about the plot. Furthermore, the character traits and colors used in the anime suggest an appeal to a younger audience. Although the visual quality is polished, there is a certain noticeable artificiality due to the use of computer graphics.
33. Elf-san wa Yaserarenai.
The anime that mixes ecchi humor with plus-size characters will make you think twice before going to sleep. Fat ecchi, that's right, have nightmares about this anime. It seems that even in Japan, where many would expect less sensitivity, they are embracing this damn political correctness.
34. Bye-Bye, Earth
The anime addresses the anthropomorphic theme, which personally doesn't appeal to me, especially when it is explored excessively and gratuitously. Furthermore, the protagonist, an empowered young woman who wields a sword her size, is the only human character in this universe. Her goal on this journey is to feel part of this world. Frankly, it looks like ideological, shameless, rushed, saturated political propaganda. A bag!
35. Ore wa Subete wo "Parry" suru: Gyaku Kanchigai no Sekai Saikyou wa Boukensha ni Naritai
A tough protagonist looking to become a hero, a princess whose life is saved from an attack, and neighboring kingdoms plotting to take over the nation. While it's not a bad proposal, it seems a bit generic. The trailer also follows this generic pattern, with a typical seasonal graphic style, although there is visible care in detail.
36. Mob kara Hajimaru Tansaku Eiyuutan
The plot of this anime revolves around a weak protagonist who, after finding treasure in a fantasy world, gains strength. In less than two lines, the essence of the story is summarized. Adventure anime become problematic when they lack a compelling purpose and motivation, turning world exploration into your journey. Because this approach does not captivate or encourage the viewer to continue watching.
37. Na Nare Hana Nare
It is not possible to obtain much information about this anime, as the synopsis is extremely vague. It is an original work and not even the genre or theme were disclosed. The only thing we know is that it tells the story of six different girls. I wouldn't bet much on this production, since the studio responsible seems to be too small to guarantee the quality of an original work. Furthermore, the trailer, at best, is generic and cute, with moderate use of computer graphics, only reasonable fluidity and few characters in the scene.
38. Shinmai Ossan Boukensha, Saikyou Party ni Shinu hodo Kitaerarete Muteki ni Naru.
I am excited about this proposal, as it conveys a very positive moral message: the idea that it is possible to start a career even at an advanced age by conventional standards and still achieve excellence. Furthermore, the music in the trailer captivated me deeply. It harmonizes perfectly with the work, elevating the spirit and evoking a strong nostalgia, reminiscent of classic anime. Although I don't know if this song will be the same as the opening song, it is promising to know that the chief director is in charge of the opening soundtrack. My excitement is only tempered by the reputation of this studio's highest-rated series being the infamous "Shuumatsu no Walküre."
39. Sengoku Youko: Senma Konton-hen
This series is a sequel to an anime that premiered in January this year. Initially, a second season was not planned, but due to production problems and a very negative reception, the work was divided into two parts, with a reduction in the number of episodes. I'm sorry about what happened, especially because the manga received good reviews, which makes me believe it had great potential. This second season is likely to have a fairly narrow audience, with the majority of viewers being fans of the manga.
40. Mayonaka Punch
Another anime of the season addressing the universe of YouTubers. It seems that this theme is gaining popularity. Given that we only have a brief synopsis available at the moment, it is difficult to make many predictions about the quality of this work. The trailer features a lively atmosphere, with only female characters. There is the possibility of a lesbian romance storyline, but it looks like the main focus will be on comedy. It is worth mentioning that the demographic is Seinen. Personally, I'm not a big fan of anime that's mainly centered around comedy, so I probably won't watch it.
41. Dungeon no Naka no Hito
This anime tells the story of a little girl responsible for maintaining dungeons. Who would be interested in a plot about janitorial work? Is it really necessary to explain why this proposal seems unattractive? Furthermore, the animation is characterized by simplified strokes and average quality. To make matters worse, the manga received negative reviews.
42. Kinnikuman: Kanpeki Chоujin Shiso-hen
This anime is a continuation of a 1991 series, which in turn was already a continuation of a 1983 series. It is surprising to see a continuation in 2024, and the second season has already been confirmed. The demographic is shounen, but it is aimed at a fairly young age group, as evidenced by the alien superhero traits and theme. I'm not part of the target audience for this anime, so I have no plans to watch it.
43. Ramen Akaneko
This is an anime about a cat caretaker. But there's a quirky twist: the cats run a ramen shop. Although the cats in this anime have human characteristics, the main story is still about the cat keeper in this store. What's interesting about a plot about taking care of cats? I like cats, I would find the first episode cute, but from the second episode onwards I would be desperate for it to end.
44. Grendizer U
This is an adaptation of a very old futuristic manga, released in 1975. Naturally, some concepts seem outdated and the anime shows no sensitivity in updating them, especially in relation to the robots' traits. Furthermore, although the generic animation has evolved significantly compared to a few years ago, it is still a typical production of the season, with abundant use of computer graphics and some moments that are out of place. The situation gets worse when we consider that it is a generic production from a smaller studio.
45. Tensui no Sakuna-hime
In this anime, the harvest goddess fights demons while working alongside men to tame the earth. I'm simplifying, as there are more elements to this plot, but the core is this. I don't include myself in the target audience for this proposal, as I don't believe in these animist mythologies and the plot seems very focused on that. So, I don't intend to watch this anime.
46. Tasuuketsu
A psychological anime that combines elements of suspense, drama and action looks promising. The trailer is acceptable, but it is worrying that few people are waiting for this anime. The situation becomes even more alarming when you realize that, although the manga has been published since 2013, it is practically unknown.
47. Cardfight!! Vanguard: Divinez Season 2
Although it is labeled as the second season, in reality, this is the seventh iteration of this franchise started in 2021. Since its debut, every season has been consistently poorly reviewed, with greatly reduced viewership. The explanation for this phenomenon seems to lie in the fact that anime was not created to truly serve the public, but rather to meet certain demands of the television market.
48. 0 Saiji Start Dash Monogatari
It's a short anime, one of those 5 minutes where, if you remove the opening and ending, there are two or three minutes of content left. It does not have an elaborate synopsis, as the plot is simple: it is an Isekai involving a trickster reincarnated in the body of a little girl, daughter of a duke, who seeks to become powerful for no apparent reason. So far, the studio, director and trailer have not yet been released, with just a month to go until the premiere. Considering the limited duration, you can't expect much from this anime, and honestly, I'm not putting much faith in it.
49. Harimaware! Koinu 2nd Season
Anime about a little dog who dedicates himself to spreading dog stickers all over the city. This is a children's series with four-minute episodes, designed to be as charming and cute as possible. Although it is not the target audience for this type of content, its appeal to children is undeniable.
50. Yami Shibai 13
This is the thirteenth season of this anime. He is a frequent presence in my analyzes of upcoming premieres, almost always appearing on these lists. Just like previous times, it is a short horror anime, with episodes lasting just four minutes. Although I have a loyal fan base who follow every season with enthusiasm, I never got involved, as this proposal does not appeal to me and I believe it would not have a significant impact on me.
51. Jochum
A children's anime, each episode is just one minute long. Does it have a robust weave? No. Is it worth watching? Probably not for most, but it certainly appeals to its target audience.
52. Monogatari Series: Off & Monster Season
