Hi there... I just finished watching Ristorante Paradiso... and I wanted to check out the manga... I havent found any scans, except for one or two chapters... But I did enjoy the story. I was wondering if you;d like to share some thought on Ristorante Paradiso manga and whether or not you've read Gente....
Thanks a bunch!
You messaged me just after I logged in to update my list. Lucky. :D
I think I've seen you under that name - the person with the avatar of (your username? I can't remember >_<) from Get Backers, right? My memory ain't so great, I'm afraid to say.
I don't post much there anymore, either... mainly because it's kind of dead. More often than not, I'm too lazy to post on forums. Instead, I stick to making (usually) long MAL comments, for reasons unknown even to me.
Yes, I love Gankutsuou. My love for it got a guy with not-so-great taste (how dare he rate Death Note 6/10 and refuse to watch the masterpiece that is Naruto!) to watch it recently, and even he gave it 10/10. Gankutsuou tends to get a lot of 10/10's in general, only people who are easily bored seeming to rate it lower.
I would go into detail about it but I only recently long message spammed some guy about it and the novel it's based on. As I mentioned above, I'm a lazy sod. If you care enough, refer to my review linked to above or another of the many on MAL. :)
Aside from yaoi, generic to the extreme and/or T&A only titles, I'm willing to give pretty much anything a go. (I'm well aware I just ruled out most anime with that sentence.) That said, I do gravitate towards more mature stories these days. However, some shounen and shoujo titles are more mature than certain seinin and josei titles. Great Teacher Onizuka - a shounen - is one of the most meaningful and inspiring stories I've encountered, and shoujo in general tends to be mature by nature due to the focus being on emotions.
Kimi ni does seem to be a lot like Kare Kano. I can see it becoming very much like it; being a story about people changing as their relationship advances, with a lot of comedy and chibi faces thrown in. And I'm assuming the supporting cast will get fleshed out in a similar way to that of Kare Kano - taking the spotlight away from the main two. I hope not, though, because that ruined Kare Kano for me.
Hello, random person in the AUKN club. I was browsing through the small member list and noticed we have a 71.4% mating chance, with mostly very similar ratings. So, I thought I'd send you a message.
I have no idea who you are on AUKN, if you even post there. I'm guessing you're an old member; one who abandoned ship long ago?
...Oh, and I see you're watching Kimi ni, us both having given it 9/10 so far. I like a cute and funny romance from time to time.
(I'm not related in any way, shape or form to Tarrasji, btw. I more than likely stole his avatar at some point.)
