Yeah, take your time with the recovery until you really crave for another VN, since new English ones aren´t released that often and they can really take quite an amount of time. Specially those with gameplay tend to be 30h+ for one route! In Kamidory Alchemy, which btw has a very nice tactical RPG Gameplay paired with Crafting, I needed about 50h to finish it and I did use a special area for quick lvl ups and in New Game+ there would be even more new Missions etc., though the story wasnt that interesting tbh.
Duh, judging from what you told me about Xenosaga I dont really think that I´ll pick it up any soon. Could be a good game project for when I have no readings anymore this semester, since I need to recharge my "tolerance energy" from ML Extra ^^
That´s it. Dishonored is just plainly overrated, specially by most reviewing sites. Well, I lost my faith in most reviewing sites like Gametrailers anyway after stupid, half-assed reviews about Tales of Graces or Disgaea <_< I mean, they let people review them, which obviously didnt seem interested in the genre.
Talking about melee attacks in Deus Ex, yeah they were kind of overpowered. I had the overall impression that sneaking itself was overpowered, since it was so much easier than going in the direct way imho. With tools like invisibility + recharching energy, 3rd person view, strong melee attacks (which could take out up to 2 people when skilled) and a very limited lifepool sneaking was just so much easier.
Well, I personally like it very much, when the battles are written well and you can really get the feel of them, like in Fate Stay Night. Boy was I dissapointed how lame the fights were in the anime compared to my imagination in the VN :D Though the anime sucked in anything else, screw it <_<
What I like about LB?
Hm..., the first thing which comes to my mind are characters and comedy generally. I do enjoy slapstick Comedy and LB is full of it, kind of like Clannad, though I have the feeling that in the VN they just come out better, like the Clannad VN (which I´m currently reading) is imo a lot funnier than in the anime.
And about characters, Komari is about one of my least favorite Characters together with Mio (that girl with short, blue hair), well Rin is quite awesome though, Masato is pure awesomeness! So TL;DR, there are still better characters to come.
I also like the whole theme about friendship and how people spend their days with their best friends, doing funny and stupid things. Ah and dont expect too much romance (even quite less than in Clannad, to compare it), its only a minor theme here.
I think, what most viewers are uncontent with, is that nothing much seems to be happening there, which is not really true. In the first two episodes alone was so much foreshadowing, that atm only make sense to the VN readers. And I also like how radical the switch from lighthearted to drama is and though it was abrupt, it still feels natural. Even traits, like Komaris happy-go-lucky attitude aren´t as happy as they seem at the first sight, you will see if you continue watching. The girl routes themselves werent that much of a revelation (not talking about EX Heroines, Saya was awesome!), but still enjoyable. And the "true ending" was just fu****g great! One of the few stories to move me to tears.
Well, most of the stuff was taken from the VN, so it depends on how well it is executed.
Yeah, that´d be one thing one would miss without Tama´s route. Tbh, the comedy with Tama´s dad and his friend is the sole reason the route has been somewhat amusing. Yeah, after Class Rep´s route (which I played last) I took a 3 week break from VN´s <_<
Aaah, talking about Xenosaga. I´ve always wanted to play it, since I thought that the story would be epic if they needed to make 3 games for it. But the gameplay just looks totally crappy and the beginning didnt quite catch me. Is it becoming better the more you play?
I see. I´m playing Dishonored atm and I think its quite fun. Though there could have been better graphics and more skills. The only real fun skills are blink, time control and person control. The rest isnt really worth mentioning. And its really easy, though I dont really mind it, its fun.
Deus EX is very nice. It´s much easier than its prequels but the story is alright and its fun to mess with the different paths which some skills offer you.
I loved Sonic Generations 3D Levels! It was just epic to blaze through the levels when you got the hang of it x3
Ah and I´ve found something pretty interesting on the net^^ I´ve been playing it with my friend a few hours, it´s incredibly fun!
Well, its just not for me I guess^^
I also wanted to start Eien no Aselia, but after Kamidory Alchemy I realized that I dont really like too much gameplay with my VN´s. If I have VN´s I want to read, not to play, also the fighting system is supposed to be bad. Though if there is one which totally catches my interest I might try it. Btw, is that fantasy language really so annyoing?
Well, the Comedy in LB is certainly quite plain, even more plain than in Clannad (which I´m currently reading, wanted to know the differences to the anime). Well, I like that tsukkomi-boke humor, so I like it. Though I dont really think this adaption will go well, since, although the first episodes were pretty true to the original material and JC really implements the most important elements quite well, there is just too much stuff in the VN, as they could fit everything into just 26 Episodes imho.
I really love the VN but I have my doubts about the anime adaption.
Well actually I think it would have sufficed to play Sumikas, Meiya and Kei´s Route to properly understand the most important things. The other routes were solely for some "oh I know that one, its just as it was in the first story" moments.
The routes themselves were just plain boring, specially Kei´s and the Class Rep´s routes (I started skipping the latter near the end). Also the characters were only model characters without any personality, thank god it got better in Unlimited <_<
Well now I see it like a piece of work you need to do b4 enjoying the good part, right^^
Haha, that sounds good^^ Mine´s gettin old slowly but steadily. I can play the games so far, but not on max graphics any longer :O
Which games are you playing? I´ve been playing Guild Wars 2 for most oft the time, now I´m back to League of Legends and Blazblue. Though I´m even cutting back on those since I dont feel like playing atm and prefer Anime and VN´s.
JoJo doesnt interest me in any way :D Looks totally stupid.
I´m currently catching up with the last two seasons and from the new one I´ve started Little Busters! I´m a huge Fan of the original VN, so its really a must-see, though I´m pretty sure it will be dissapointing, I really look forward to see my beloved Characters in action^^
Btw, how is the MuvLuv Total Eclipse Anime? I´ve heard that it isnt that good apparently. Whats your oppinion?

Lol, nice Video. I like that one very much. I mean, wtf, how much time did that one need to figure out that path? oO http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=397h6u7Rtsk
