Yes, Monster is set in Germany and Czechia (Czech Republic). Some later parts take place in Prague.

Location on my mal is a joke (it's the place where Asuka was born), in reality, I am from Czechia. It's one of the reasons why I enjoyed Monster so much. It was really nice to see Czechia being mentioned in anime and not only that. To see signs, inscriptions and even hear some of the voice actors trying to speak Czech was really interesting, and I loved it. It was beautiful to see someone foreign try to depict Czechia. I think they managed to capture the feeling of the Czech Republic perfectly.

About if I have been to some of these places, yes, I have been to Prague, so I have seen, for example, the location I sent you last time. Prague is quite a nice city.

You heard correct! There are some good reads, if you find the right authors. (Many stories are just copies of others, which can be fustrating when trying to find something different or original- in the sense that it's not just a retelling of another story.
(this is extremely common for isekai/2nd life chance type stories :') ).

Anyways, I've been doing my best to avoid the medium for now and just focus on anime :D ( I was close to entering a slump).

Oh that's interesting. I thought about doing like monthly themes mixing it up now and again but i don't have the heart to stick to things for long. Shame shame. I have seen the "true" favorites but i like having them mix-matched XD leads to conversations like this where you can explain and recommend them.
