My animé fandom probably goes well into my childhood. Back then, I had a video (look it up, kids) of a "cartoon" called World of the Talisman, which I have since learned is also known as Birth, and originated in Japan, along with many other things of which I was to become very fond. The first animé I really got into was Dragon Ball Z, something I'm sure most any given animé fan was into at some point. It was aired - albeit censored - on Cartoon Network, back when it used to be good, along with a few other animé, such as Gundam Wing, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, and the animé that would become my favourite for a very long time to come, Tenchi Muyo!.
Since then, though, a lot has changed. A person's tastes evolve with their exposure; the more you see, the clearer your definitions become. I still adore Tenchi Muyo!, but it is no longer one of my favourites. Nonetheless, it'll always have some sort of sentimental value; that framed lithograph signed by Matt Miller I have hanging in my hallway is something with which I will never part!
I couldn't possibly define what I look for in an animé. My taste in animé is much like my taste in music: I'll give any genre a chance and judge everything I see on an individual basis. Just look at my top 5: period drama, shounen, horror/romance, comedy/drama, then shounen/ecchi. Some of my other favourites include Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Excel Saga, Death Note, Cromartie High School, Mitsudomoe and Negima!? (yes, the spinoff animated by SHAFT). They're all good (in my opinion), each for their own reasons. I won't judge anything by the genre to which it belongs. By the way, my favourite hentai animé is Uchuu Kaizoku Sara.
My fondest (animé-related) wish is to see the Eiken manga animated in its entirety.

Amazon, btw.
And now, my real assessment. The arm she's reaching up with seems a tad too short, compared to the one at her side. The shading and detail could also be better, as it seems at tad cheap looking. Dunno how to go about that kind of thing though.
Other than that it seems okay, and my only other problems are probably just entirely subjective design choices.
That's really the best way to do things.
No, I meant Sword Fart Online.
I wouldn't if I were you, but hey, you might like it. From what I've heard, it's a waste of time.
Oh yeah? I probably won't watch more of it for a while, since my friend only comes to town like, once a month... it sucks having your best friend live in another city.
Perhaps.
Oh yes, Rachel is quite delightful. I do love me some loligoth oujo-samas. Oh, yeah, I watched some of Gosick with my friend yesterday. It was neat.
Funny, I actually don't care for her all that much so far. The way she's portrayed is just odd. She acts kind of like yamato nadeshiko, but she's clearly a soldier. I'm not saying action girls can't have a cute and/or motherly side to them, but so far she hasn't won me over.
Yes, I am. I haven't played the games at all, so I'm kinda lost, but I know there's something about a time loop. Is said person that albino robot chick who's all yandere for Ragna? She's creepy, heehee.
