I am simply writing this comment to let you know I was so immensely tilted by your review of Durarara!! that I had to let you know. So you certainly succeeded "jabbing at the hornet's nest" as you wrote.
:o I have checked if out prior to replying。
It's amusing that you can rate animes that religiously is what I'm trying to say. Not in the bad light, of course.
I don't even check the average rating. 😆
It took me a while to recall what made me comment on your profile. I think it was because of rating an anime that led me in commenting /:o /. I believe I read one of your reviews wherein I fail to remember which. XD
Hey dude, cool Durarara!! review you made, very cool, and it's definitely flat-out boring and humorless compared to Paranoia Agent, which handles the non-linear narrative and comedy much better.
Oh, ok, I'm going to watch the OVA someday, although I watched S;G 3 months ago, I still rememberg almost all the stuff. I was just saying that the true ending of Eva is that movie lol
I mean, I'm not sure if they're objectively problems with the writing, but there are some things that I didn't like, specially the girls... I'll message you, thanks
Here's something I don't get, in the end, the characters beside Okabe remember the other timelines or not? because if they don't remember anything, it actually counts as a resent ending.
No, I haven't watched the OVA, are you saying that it's like The End of Evangelion of Steins;Gate? Then I'm going to watch it someday!
I have other problems with S;G, that are more of the character writing than anything else
At least is short and if you watch some episodes more you're not going to suffer anymore haha
Oh, now I get your point. Yep that was pretty ???,
Here's a topic that explain the D-mail thing very well, I didn't know how to express it in the english language: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/bbs/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=835372
I would like that Okabe became in a truly "mad scientist", because of all the stuff he had to go trough... but that would be dementia and not much anime is classified on that genre.
Oh, I didn't want to say that the ending being happy is a bad thing, but the fact that it's a reset ending, the saving Kurisu thing felt forced, ep 22 would have been a better, bittersweet ending, but with that complete reset ending, no one remembers anything because it basically never happened (even Kurisu because if I don't remember bad, she never met Okabe) and that's what nullifies the character development... btw the ending was a lot like The Butterfly Effect ending, did you notice it? o: (I'm not saying this is bad)
Oh, now I get it, lmao! so it's getting worse with every episode? that's sad af...
Lol, NGE never tries to explain its plot with theories from our world.
Mmm, the technology stuff is not really what bothers me, that's why it's sci-fi! What I really found convenient was the thing about remembering something that happened in different timelines (I'm talking about the side characters, not Okabe) when it was the show itself that established that things like this were impossible to happen.
I think S;G is decent, it has many plot holes (Example: the first D-mail thing) and the problem is exactly that it tries to apply real scientific theories but then contradicts them...
The character development ends up being nothing because of the fix-everything ending, too...
At least S;G is loved by almost all this site, but Eva... no ;-; haha!
Ok I'm going to Start the Rakugos tomorrow (maybe), is good to hear that it has a good transition between comedy and drama.
Mmm, you're right! Except when you don't care about the show at all lmao!
Sorry, I thought that I answered!
Or maybe I did and this crap didn't send it...
The Rukugo anime it's a comedy? I thought it was a drama... or maybe a dramedy. I need to check it before it ends.
Mmm I will tell you about a single one that is very contradictory with the show itself: people should not be able, by any medium, to be capable of remembering events that happened on other timelines. This was so ???, and it contradicts the show because it wants to explain the time travel through real theories and events.
You did it well, I can't drop things, but this show made no sense at all lol

The biggest flaw on Steins;Gate is that it tries to be based on science and it fails misserably with its plot conveniences.
I will probably update it when it ends, I'm too lazy right now LOL
I need to watch the Rakugos, it seems like the most smart series of this season, and some of my friends are watching it and they say it's really good!
