Perhaps the most conclusive proof regarding the stance of Grave of the Fireflies is found in Takahata’s continued insistence that “[The film] is not at all an anti-war anime and contains no such message.”
Yeah, K-On! does the school club setup quite well, it reminds me of some of the silly things that would happen in the ones I went to. I do intend to check out Sora yori sooner rather than later (which is to say I'm actively trying to figure out when I'm starting it unlike 95% of my PTW) as I have heard a lot of good things about it.
Oh man, 0MAN0's finally starting a good old-fashioned "CGDCT that barely involves what's in the title" anime. Not that I've seen Maid-Dragon or Sora yori but AFAIK they actually involve what they say they do. Now I get to find out if thinking that season 1 of K-On! is better than season 2 is actually weird or not, if you're the sort to enjoy these types of anime anyhow.
I don't know why that's how I decided to ask "how's K-On! going" but it is.
