I'm Melancholy. I am a fujoshi, fan of anime for over three years, and am a gamer. I'm not typically mean or rude to people, but I don't like others wasting my time. Let's start by making it clear I will not accept your friend requests unless you talk to me first.

There are several things I cannot tolerate about people - those who think that it's okay to hate what another person likes, and those who are disrespectful and ignorant. If you are any of these things, I will ignore you. If you are any of these things and want to talk to me, don't even bother.

If you want to know some things about me, I am not generally a rude person. I am pretty willing to tell people about myself and am very open-minded to other people's interests and likes. I can be judgmental to ignorant people, but other than that, I really won't disrespect you unless you give me a reason to dislike you.

I have differing tastes in anime, going from action, drama, history, and anything long-running. I have no taste in reverse harem, romance, ecchi, or anything that involves hentai. I refuse to watch anime with stereotyped women in it and will only watch things that focus on men, because let's be serious here, they are more commonly made more mature than high school anime girls.

I like mature themes in anime, but I don't mind a high school setting either. Detective shows really inspire me, along with sci-fi themes. Another thing I like in anime are strong characters and great graphics - I'm never watching something that looks like a child's animation - and I also enjoy seeing a range of personality in these characters. I hate generic people and I hate generic anime.

As I told you, I'm a fujoshi. That means I like boy/boy. And I don't care if you don't like it - I don't care if you're a sexually irritated middle school boy and feel offended about your masculinity. I like seeing two men together and your opinion on it does not bother me. However, I am okay with other people not liking yaoi. It's not for everyone. It's also worth noting that I still like heterosexual ships on occasion, along with yuri. As long as the characters are chemistry, I don't have a problem shipping for gender. I do, admittedly, have a preference for yaoi.

Let's allow me to make one thing perfectly damn clear - let's just assume you don't like yaoi, you happen to be one of those triggered heterosexual fucks who demand that yaoi gets out of their lives, blah blah... I won't be the one to make you look at yaoi (that's just as dickish as you) but it'd be greatly preferred if you didn't judge or harass those who do like it especially if they do happen to respect your wishes to keep it out of your face. Just a thing you should consider.

I like people who make effort with their responses. If you don't have decent grammar or aren't willing to have an elaborate conversation with me, I probably won't reply to you because this isn't a texting website. I like to discuss all kinds of things with people, and if I take the time to make a nice response, do the same.

I like open-minded individuals, Japanese food, dogs, many different types of music, writing, playing Xbox and PC games, BL/GL, people who like BL/GL too, cool people, people who have senses of humor, people who don't fucking judge, controversial topics in ships, really anything that doesn't involve ass clowns.

Huge Final Fantasy fan. Pre-ordered Final Fantasy 15 and have grinded out all achievements. Own the season pass and looking for others to play with on FFXV Comrades. Also love Final Fantasy 13 and Final Fantasy 7. #2019EpisodeArdyn

I hate judgmental assholes, people who hate BL/GL, people who say subs are shit (because they're not), people who hate on others just because they're different, people who don't know how to joke around, people who whine, people who can go suck this finger, people who call homosexuality and things like it a "sin", over-religious people.

-MY RATING SYSTEM-

There are many ways people choose to judge an anime. They will either see it through the eyes of a highly influenced mind, or they will attempt to see it through a critic's eyes. I tend to do a little bit of both. I rate my anime on two factors: how much I enjoy it and what was actually good and bad about it.

If I enjoy an anime, then I probably will give it a good rating because that means I think it was worth my time and others should witness it. However, I may lower the rating a few numbers if the plot, characters, theme, animation, and sound were not as good as it could have been. Regardless of some of these factors, I will still give an anime a good rating if I enjoyed what I saw.

I will only ever drop an anime if I absolutely hate what I have seen. Most times I will try to find something in that anime I like that will help me continue through it, but if too many things are bad, I will unfortunately leave it behind.

Here's how my scoring system works:
10 - My favorite anime. Only one anime I have seen gets this spot on my list. Absolutely must watch. Absolutely must re-watch.
9 - Some of the best anime out there. A fantastic watch.
8 - Very, very good anime with minor flaws. A great watch.
7 - Pretty good, worth at least one look over. A nice watch.
6 - Eh, it was pretty good but it had it's issues. Maybe it'll be your type of anime, maybe it won't be. Might be good to you and it might not be.
5 - It kind of wasted my time. Not very good at all, but not atrocious either.
4 - Waste of time, and a waste of your time. Do not watch. Bad.
3 - What am I even watching?
2 - This is a disgrace. Stay away.
1 - Not even going past the first episode. Trash.
