Not to mention mal looks so basic, and like what you can do with anilist, that allows you to have themes with your profile it is very nice.

If you don’t mind that pacing to be bad that’s fine, good for you. But I have an issue with it that’s all this should boil down to just because you think the anime pacing is still fine and enjoyably doesn’t mean I have to. Once I’m up to date with the manga I do plan to watch the anime weekly and hopefully I can love it again like I use to.

Lol of course people are going to compare the source material(manga) to the adaptation.

I’ve watched 546 episodes of one piece and I’ve read 111 chapters. I tried watching dressrosa but the pacing was too slow so I switched to the manga. I still believe that the anime nails the emotional/ epic moments better than the manga. I heard from my brother that pacing was becoming an issue but I still kept watching the anime until I witnessed the horrendous pacing...

Good animations will not fix the pacing, how the anime looks hasn't been the problem the fact that they have been putting 3 pages of manga into a 25 minute episode is the problem.

Yes, I have seen the Broly film, my thoughts on it were I find to be the best thing modern Dragon Ball has put out. I like how they handle Broly character as he actually has some character into this time instead of how he is in the original 3 films, where he just angry and always screaming Karaott, and had a stupid motivate. While this Broly is a guy who is living out like a caveman and has no idea how much potential he has, he can't control his strength but has the potential to be a strong fighter. I like this difference and leaves up the possibility of redeeming himself as the original Broly was shit. The action scenes were good, I like how they animated everything especially when Gogeta was fighting Broly that was a nice fight to see animated. I like how fusion was the final trump card, like this one of those rare time the fusion actually was the way they defeat the villain, so that was a nice change to see. The past segments were decent it adds some backstory to Broly and Paragus, which that was nice. Overall I find to be nice action film and does ive me slight hope things can turn around and we can get Dragon Ball being good again, as I hated how Super was handled. Looking forward to see what next for Dragon Ball future.

Well, it isn't always pointless to explore new genres, as for me I want to see all the best each genre has to offer before I decide I am truly done with it. As I would like to explore other forms of entrainment.

But I can understand where you coming from as now you want to stick to the stuff you like and stay with that. Which is good, as like you I also value great storytelling and great characters, as they are what keep me going in an anime, as without them I would have alot of drops. As why I keep watching them and will keeping doing so until i find all the best it has to offer.

Thanks, I hope 2019 is a good year for you as well, though not sure if 2019 can be a better year for me gaming than how 2018 was that the year where I had my best year in gaming as I got to find my top 2 favorite games of all time and other games I came to love and have memorable experiences. Hopefully this year I will complete my top 10 as last year was time where I start to realize more about my taste in anime, as I realize thanks to Mahoujin Guruguru I still have room to grow where my taste can change into. As I though I reached my peak, but I was wrong when I say this hidden gem of a show. It help me realize that what my the 3 aniem that I remove from my top 10 lacked, as with those 3 even though i like them alot, I don't the same feel I had with them as I did with Joe, Erin, Yamato, Kaguya, Guruguru, Lupin, Touch and Maison Ikkou, that fell is the unforgttable journey. as each of these 8 shows, I wnt threw a journey that i experience alot fo things with such laughter, saddness, exicted, etc.Shwos that I willa lways hold in high regard and always able to experess my thoughs about them in a passionate way.That what I with all the anime in my top 10 and hoepfully before the end of 2019 I can acheive that anime goal. Which could happen as I re expereince a show I saw 5 years ago, being Crest of the Stars and I loved the first season as just much I did before. Hoepfully wehn I get around to rewatch it's sequel seasons known as Banner of the Stars 1,2 ,3 it will help it get back in to my top 10.
