Marcelo Gastaldi was a Brazilian actor, presenter, producer, comedian, singer, composer, announcer, voice actor and dubbing director. He was considered one of the most brilliant and versatile voice actors of his generation, having been the creator and main force behind MAGA, a dubbing cooperative responsible for dubbing many of the international productions broadcast mainly by TVS (now SBT) between the 1980s and 1990s. Despite having had a broad artistic career, spanning theater, television, cinema and music, Gastaldi is especially known for being the classic and most striking voice of the famous Mexican comedian Roberto Gómez Bolaños, in addition to having also directed the dubbing of the series created and starred by him: El Chavo del Ocho and Chapulin Colorado.
