Kamiya, Takahiro

Kamiya Takahiro (real name: 神谷孝広) was born March 21 1971 in Iwaki, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. He is a gag mangaka who debuted in Kodansha's Young Magazine at the age of 19 with Ore Tadaima Seishun Naka (俺ただ今青春中). His most important works are Oh! My Konbu, which was adapted into an animated television series in 1991, and Hero Hero-kun, which was adapted into an animated television series in 2000. Matsushita Koushi (松下幸志) was once his assistant.
