Sentai Filmworks Licenses Clannad Movie

According to David Williams from Sentai Filmworks, his company will release the Clannad Movie. The release is planned for March and will include English and Japanese dubbing and English subtitles. Additionally, he said that the previously acquired by Sentai Clannad: After Story will receive English dubbing in April.

Dub is awesome! I really like it but some characters sound different, to me at least.

Am I the only one that says "Hey! Good for them!" Not "YOU GUYS ARE MORONS DON'T DO IT!" I don't see YOU running a company! If you start a company that subs anime/video games and dosen't dub them then good for you, you can say "Dubs suck!" but... until then KEEP YOUR GOD DAMN MOUTH SHUT!

If it will be the Kyoto Animation producers (who produce Clannad) who will do this.. there will be a chance.. but if it is still Toei who will do it.. I bet this will drop before it gets to the market

Guys, guys, After Story is already available in pure subs only from sentai (I know this because I actually own the After Story collection by sentai!). So... you can still buy the pure subs if the dubs really bother you that much.

Well I'm in the minority but I am so excited for the dub! But I like dubs. :) I'm so happy I actually get to own both series dubbed! Not sure about the movie though, I think I'll rent it just to see it, not sure I'll buy it.

And for those of you who dislike the dub, now you'll get to own the subbed version! You won't even have to look at the dub version if you don't want to.

I hated the movie by Toei because it spoiled the hell out of me...but it's still good enough to move me.
