Blu-ray & DVD Release Date of Gundam 00 Movie

According to Gundam.info, the Blu-ray and the DVD of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 The Movie: A Wakening of the Trailblazer will be released on December 25th.

I saw the movie in raw and unfortunately it did not exceed my expectation. The mecha action is one notch up, but the story plot is two levels down. I expected better from Sunrise.

Spoilers ahead, consider youself warned.

I really enjoy the human relations crafted in the TV series of gundam 00. For example, Nena Trinity kills Louise's family, then somehow Louise kills Nena. Ali Al Sachez kills Neil and his family, and Lyle get revenge. Andrei kills his own father etc. Sunrise is genius when it comes to those relationships. At least they used to be. But the movie is all about humans unite and defeat a common foe (Alien). I thought, really sunrise this is the best you can do? Oh well, at least it has rewatch values as a piece of eye candy.

Know what? When I visited animetake today I saw "Gundam 00 movie..." and I was like "HELL YEAH FINALLY SUBS OMG! etc." :P But it was like 7 GB file and only torrent. Anyway, when I visited it again 5 minutes later it was gone D;
But I think that it's a good sign and we should be able to watch it with subs sooner than we think, well.. At least I hope xD
