Anime Movie of Berserk Announced [Update Jan 6]

According to the cover note of the manga volume 35, a new anime project of Berserk was announced to get underway. More information will be given in Young Animal magazine and the official twitter.

Anime director Kitakubo Hiroyuki heard that Studio 4°C is producing a full CGI anime of Berserk utilizing motion capture technique.

According to Newtype magazine February issue, an anime movie of Berserk was announced.

According to Natalie, "Berserk Saga Project" was announced to be launched. It will animated the entire story of Berserk. As the first work, an anime movie will be shown within this year.

I was hoping to see this in the near future, but that doesnt matter, I mean they are animating one of the most epic tails ever told, Im happy theyre taking their time with it, just have to be patient :)

Anyway, all this news gets me more and more excited. A series of movies is the way to go as far as I'm concerned. They'll have a much higher budget doing it this way. On top of that, if the rumors are true(and so far, everything has been), Studio 4C will be animating. The project is in capable hands, and that's an understatement.
