Shimamiya Eiko Cancels Her Concert Due to Thyroid Cancer

Singer & songwriter Shimamiya Eiko announced in her official twitter that she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and her live concert Eiko Shimamiya 2010 LIVE “Perfect World” was canceled. It was scheduled to be held on June 20th.

FUCK. Why does cancer have to ruin everything in life. She's one of my favourite Japanese artists :'(. Hope she manages to fight it as well as she can.
