Studio Pierrot's Anime Movie Onigamiden Announced

A teaser webpage of a new anime movie "Onigamiden" was launched on March 25th. It will be premiered on October 9th.

Director: Kawasaki Hirotsugu ("Naruto: Movie 2")
Scenario: Arakawa Naruhisa ("Spice and Wolf", "Elemental Gelade")
Production Studio: Studio Pierrot

The story takes place in Kyoto 1200 years ago. Battles between Oni (Demon) and humans will be animated in mega scale.

expect massive cg and little storyline.... staff doesn't impress me either.

Wicked looking. I want lots of swordfights and serious hangtime with minmal verbose intro before attacks. Also cool looking oni that are bishies or bishoujo.
